y/n's pov

Even though my eyes we're glued shut I could still feel the warmth of the sun hitting my eyelids. With a rude awakening from the never ending rays of light, I slowly make my out of bed.

Just the thought of school and having to meet new people was mentally exhausting. My sister Layla and I don't necessarily have the best of luck with people. Once word spreads around that we practice magic everyone starts rumors calling us witches. Which technically we are-aha witch ya get it?

Anyways a whole bunch of unwanted attention is brought upon us when people learn about our "witchery". Part of the reason for us constantly switching schools all the time, well mostly the main reason, is because the continuous comments we have to deal with. When someone feels the need to talk about or judge our mom then let's say things get a little...physical.

Despite our rather painful past with previous schools n' what not, mom enrolled Layla and I into a new one. Apparently there's a whole bunch of kids just like us. She really seems to think this Hunter Academy is going to be the best thing for us. Who knows, it could be a let down like just like the rest.

Sinking back down into my fluffy irresistible blankets I'm rudely interrupted. Heaving out a soft sigh I glare at the jet black haired girl standing in my doorframe.

"Y/n get up we have to go." she ordered bossily. Groaning dramatically at the tone of her voice I hoist myself out of bed.

"Well can I actually change in peace please?" I say lazily shoving my sister from my room. Almost instantly I sense a dark aurora rise from her.

"Next time you touch me you're going to earn a nice new needle in your voodoo doll-" she threatened. "Oh trust me I already have a few waiting for yours.." I mumble quietly.

Rustling through my closet I finally find the perfect outfit. I slip on my light blue cropped long sleeve that showed my stomach a bit. Then I put on my white tennis skirt, stopping mid thigh. Finally my long thigh high dark brown boots.

After observing the outfit that fairly complimented my figure I sling my bag over my shoulder.
"Let's get this over with Lils." Layla rolled the door as she opened the door.

Waving goodbye to mom Layla and I made our way to the large school that stuck out like a sore thumb. I glance at my sister smiling slightly to myself. As long as we have each other we'll be okay..right?
