Shoto was running with a smile on his face. He wanted to tell his father that he had just risen the moon for the first time.
"Father!" He yelled as he opened the door, only to hear yelling.
"Bull! You love him more then anyone!" His bother, Touya yelled.
"Touya. Do not raise your voice. I love all my children." Enji said. Touya had his flames out.
"Then why give it to him! I was waiting!" Touya yelled. Enji sighed.
"Touya. Shoto was born with this gift, as you were born with the gift to raise the mountains. That is a lot of responsibility. Your flames heat the earths crust and with that, you can raise the earth to form mountains." Enji said. Touya turned and throw one of his flames. It hit a wall but the fire didn't spread.
"Touya. That is enough." Enji said but Touya looked at him.
"Switch our roles." Touya said. Enji was silent.
"Now." He demanded. Enji shook his head.
"No." Enji said and turned, leaving the room. Touya was pissed. Shoto waited till his father was gone before he ran over.
"Touya." He said. Touya looked at him.
"What?" He asked in anger. Shoto looked down and kicked the ground.
"You can have my job." He said. Touya looked at his baby bother.
"Shoto." He said and Shoto looked up at him. Touya was smiling. Shoto smiled but then Touya held up one of his hands, his flames coming out. Shoto frowned and took a step back.
"I don't need your pity." He said and throw the flames at him.

Shoto was cupping his scar.
"My screams caused my father and mother to run in, giving my eldest brother time to leave. My older sister tried to stop him, but he knocked her out easily. She was fine in the end while I was left with this scar." Shoto said. Midoriya was silent as they walked.
"But if he left, who raises the mountains?" Midoriya asked. He then felt an arm go around his neck.
"No one." He heard.
"Natsuo. Release him." Shoto said and he did, laughing a bit.
"Sorry little bro. Just wanted to see your bride up close." He said. Shoto glared.
"He is male Natsuo. He can not be a bride." Shoto said.
"Fine, groom then. You're always so serious." He said but looked at Midoriya.
"Anyway. When Touya Abandoned us, we lost our god of the mountains." He said. Midoriya gave a nod, not understanding. Shoto must have seen in that and places a hand on his shoulder.
"My father choose our roles based on our powers. Once a role is placed, only he can switch it if both gods are present. Since Touya left, we have no god of the mountains" Shoto says. Midoriya gave a nod, but was still confused. Natsuo looked at Shoto.
"Shoto, I think its a bit much for him. Why not take him to get some rest." He said. Shoto gave a nod.
"Yes. Come Midoriya." He said. Midoriya looked at him.
"I'm ok. I want to learn more if I'm to be your hus...gro...Something." He said. Shoto smiled.
"Husband is correct. My father knows I am not attracted to women." He said. Midoriya blushed.
"So, we...we...ummm..." Midoriya did not say anything as he blushed and looked down, kicking the dirt a bit. Shoto knew that look. He sighed and gave a nod.
"I will ask my father to undo the ceremony." He said. Midoriya looked at him.
"No. Please. My village." He said. Shoto looked at him.
"Will be fine. This is one of the reasons why my father stopped the humans sacrifice. If one did not wish to marry us, my father would allow the sacrifice, but send the human to a new village far from their old home." He said. Midoriya put a hand on his arm.
"Its not that Shoto. This is a lot to take in. I'm not mad that you and I are, well, married." He said. Shoto looked at him.
"Even if I am a male?" He asked. Midoriya told hear the sadness in his voice. Midoriya looked down.
"I'm glad you are male. The elders were mad with me when I came of age to marry. When I was asked who, I gave the name of a male in the village. I was rejected marriage and only my mother excepted me. Well, her and the leader of the village. The elders said that only a cursed child like me would be attracted to males." He said. Shoto turned and faced him. Midoriya looked at him.
"I just need time. We don't even know anything about each other." Midoriya said. Shoto smiled.
"Well, We have time. Tell me more about you and I will tell you more about me." He said. Midoriya smiled and they sat under a tree, talking.
