Chapter 13 - Pain

Touya looks at the statue. He never stopped loving her. 

"Shigaraki. Keep the boy in my room. Do not let him escape." He said and he turns, facing Midoriya. 

"I lost my love but with her sacrifice, we learned that you had not died. I will get her back and I know how." He says and walks. Midoriya struggles but Shigaraki throws him into the room he woke up in and slams the door close. Midoriya runs and pounds on the door. 

"Let me go!" He yells and tries to ram the door but gasps in pain and falls, holding his shoulder. 

'I-I have to escape.' He thinks. 

~with Shoto~ 

Shoto is worried as his father walks in. 

"Shoto. Come eat my son." He says. Shoto looks at him. His eyes were red. Enji knew that look. He moved and sat on the bed by him. 

"We will find him Shoto. I promise you." He says. Shoto looked away. He was told that they had taken him to the underworld and they couldn't enter it. Enji hated to see his son sad. He hated seeing his family like it also. Everyone was on edge. He stood and walked to the door and gave a nod. Rei walks in with food and sat. 

"Honey. You need to eat." She says. It has only been a day, but Shoto hasn't eaten. Enji looked at them when he felt someone step on his land. He moved to the entrance and saw Touya. 

"Hello Enji." Touya says. Enji glares. Touya stepped back and walks down. Enji was silent before he followed him. He knew the risk of leaving, but his family was hurt to many times by his eldest son. 

"I see you are following me. Do you wish to save the boy that much?" Touya asks, his back to his father. Enji was silent as he followed him. Touya smirked and looked behind him. 

"You follow so carelessly. Do you not care that I could kill you at any moment?" Touya asked. Enji was still silent. Touya glared at him and faced forward. He led his father to the underworld. Once down, Touya walked and opened the door. Midoriya looked at him and Touya grabbed him, making his stand.

"Father. Tell me something." Touya said and walked to the pool of the souls with Midoriya. 

"If I were to throw the elixir of immortality into the pool of souls, would this boy die or be just fine?" Touya asked. Enji glared. 

"The boy would die and...and the elixir..." He starts but his eyes were else were. Touya followed his glaze and saw he was looking at Yuki. 

"Do not look at her!" Touya yelled. Midoriya was scared. 

"E-Enji." Midoriya whispered and Enji looked at him. 

"If you throw Izuku into that pool, the elixir will be lost forever." Enji says and walks forward. 

"Just ask your boss." He says. Touya looks at him and he shrugs.

"He is not wrong." Shigaraki says. Touya smirks. 

"Then you have no problem jumping in after him is I were, to say, let him fall in?" Touya asks and looks at Midoriya. 

"Unless you give us the elixir we want, that is." He says. Midoriya looks at Enji. Enji looked worried. He had no power her in the underworld. Not a single drop of sunlight or heat could reach him and power him. 

"I...I will do it." Midoriya says. Touya smirks and walks him over to Yuki. 

"Then heal her." Touya demands. 

"Touya. That's..." Enji starts but the ground shakes as Touya gets mad. 

"Heal her!" Touya yells. Midoriya nods and takes some elixir from him and bring it to her mouth. It slides in and the stone pieces break off and Yuki looks normal. Touya smiles. 

"Yu..." He starts but she drops to the ground. He lets Midoriya go and picks her up. Midoriya run to Enji. 

"Yuki! Yuki!" He yells. She doesn't move or say anything. He feels her wrists and feels a heart beat and the warmth of her blood. 

"Yuki?" He asks and shakes her.

"Yuki! Yuki look at me!" Touya yelled.

"I tried to tell you. If you wake her without finding her soul, she will be nothing but a shell." Enji says. Touya looks at him. 

"Y-You mean..." He started and Enji nods. 

"Its worse then death. She is alive, but she is nothing but a hollow shell." Enji said. Touya looks at her. Toga has tears. Shigaraki looks at the pool. 

"By now her soul would be close to the bottom. It would be impossible to find her." Shigaraki says. 

"But Shigaraki, you can get her right?" Toga asked. Shigaraki looks sad. 

"No. If I try, I would also die. She is close to the bottom. That's where souls go to die. The pool is not deep, maybe only eight feet or so. The souls are in there for ten, maybe eleven years, slowly falling to the bottom before they die and return to the mortal realm. Anything that touched the bottom will die, living or not." Shigaraki says and looks that them. He looked sad. 

"I'm sorry. If I had known, I would have grabbed her soul before that happened." Shigaraki says.

"I-Is there nothing we can do?" Midoriya asked. Shigaraki looks at him before he looks down.

"It's impossible. Even if her soul was still..." He starts but Midoriya runs, jumping into the pool. 

"Izuku!" Enji yells.
