Midoriya was now sleeping, his head on Shoto's shoulder. Shoto's mother, Rei walked over with a loaf of bread.
"I brought him some bread. It was my favorite as a mortal and even now." She said and sat on the ground. Her kimono was a dark blue. Shoto smiled.
"Thank you mother but he seems to have fallen asleep." Shoto said. She smiles.
"You know your father wanted to find you someone also, right?" Rei asked. Shoto gave a nod.
"Yes, but because Touya took..." Shoto stopped and Rei took his hand.
"He will find him. For now, young Midoriya will be the last to taste it." Rei said. Shoto gave a nod and looks at the sleeping boy.
"He is handsome. Are mortals always this handsome?" Shoto asked. Rei laughed a bit.
"Not all my son." She said. Shoto smiled and Enji walked up.
"Rei. You should be in bed." He said. Rei stood and walked to him.
"I know my love, but I wished to bring Shotos groom some bread." She said. Enji smiled and kissed her forehead before he looked at Shoto.
"When he wakes, bring him to me. He will then be one of us and I will pick his placed." Enji said and took his wife's hand to walk her back to their room. Shoto smiled. His father told him, along with all his children, that when he was born, he was alone and had no since of kindness. When his wife was the first human sacrifice, she had taught him kindness and love. He may look big and scary but the truth was he loved all his children and loved his wife with all his heart.
Shoto then heard groaning and looked, seeing Midoriya's eyes open slowly. He moved and gave a yawn.
"Good morning Midoriya." Shoto said. Midoriya looked and blushed a bit.
"S-sorry." He said. Shoto shook his head but held the bread up. Midoriya took it and his stomach growled.
"Eat. It will help when taking the elixir." Shoto said. Midoriya gave a nod, saying a small prayer for the food and eat it. Shoto waited till he was done and stood, helping him up.
"Come. My father and mother will watch also as you take the elixir." Shoto says. Midoriya got nervous.
"D-Does it hurt?" He asked. Shoto looked at him.
"No. It just stops you from aging and you get a power over the mortal realm. I will help you, as will my mother and father." He says and leads him behind the house. Midoriya looks around as he sees beautiful vines going up what looked like a small waterfall, but it was now dried up, with only a bit of golden liquid at the bottom.
"Midoriya." Enji said. Midoriya looked at him.
"You must be the one that goes down and drink from the elixir of immortality. There is only enough of one more mortal." Enji said. Midoriya gave a nod and moved, stepping down into the small crevice that would have been a pond with a waterfall. Once both feet were down, he slipped and fell, landing near the golden liquid.
"Midoriya? Are you ok?" Shoto asked in worry. Midoriya rubbed his head and looked at them with a smile.
"Y-Yes, sorry." He said and looked back at the liquid. He moved and cupped it and brought it to his lips.
It had no flavor but it felt like water as he swallowed it. Midoriya looked down and saw he had taken it all. He stood and climbed out and looked at them but they were starring at him with a shocked expression.
"What?" Midoriya asked. Enji then glared and grabbed Midoriya's Yukata. Midoriya became scared.
"Father!" Shoto yelled.
"Enji!" Rei yelled.
"You are working with him! Where is he and where did he place it!" Enji yelled. Midoriya, now scared for his life, tried to get away from him. He then felt something wrap around him and pull him and he looked, seeing the vines from the waterfall had moved and gently wrapped around him and pulled him closer.
"W-what is going on?" Midoriya asked and the vine wrapped around him and Midoriya felt something strange as they did. He felt relaxed.
"Midoriya." Shoto said. Midoriya looked at him. Shoto was near him and he held a hand out. Midoriya slowly reached and touched his hand, but once he did, he passed out.
Shoto caught him and looked at his father.
"Enji, why did his body glow like our elixir? That has never happened before." Rei asked. Enji glares.
"Because that boy has touched the elixir with not only his body, but his mind. He has not tasted it, yet the elixir is inside of him." Enji said and looked at Shoto, seeing how he was holding him close.
"Take him to your room. When he wakes, I wish to speak to him." Enji said. Shoto gave a nod and stood, picking Midoriya up and walked to their room.
