They watch from shadows,
laughing,
whispering,
taunting me.
I cover my ears,
close my eyes,
huddled in the light,
away from their jeers and claws.
The sun sets,
night comes.
They reach for me,
chattering as they drag me away.
I scream,
but no one hears.
He stands near the shadows,
welcoming me to his realm.
No turning back now.
It's over, and he's won.
I have lost,
and now I pay the price for my mistakes.

PoetryJust to be clear, this is poetry, not a story. I'm sorry if you don't like that stuff, but it's what I am writing lately. I will be writing another "story" that's more like a diary. Thanks for reading! Bye! :D -Julliette Dawn
