Chapter 4- The train ride

Hermione POV

UGH! I don't like that girl Annabeth. She was always trying to prove that she was better. Anyway, we went to bed in the leaky cauldron. Next morning, we met the new students downstairs. I knew they were not telling the truth. But I could not say anything about it. My friends would not belive me. We ate and went to see Mrs.Weasley. Mr.Weasley had got us 4 cars to go to the train station. The new students knew how to drive(some how). So, they took 3 cars. We were 6 in our car. Some how we maneged to all fit. The new students followed us. We arrived at the station 30 minutes befor the train would leave. "So, where is platform 9 and 3/4?" Asked Annabeth. "You need to run straight into the wall. Between platform 9 and 10." I said. "Would it be smarter to call it platform 9 and 1/2 if we are going to run in the middle?" That was acualy really smart. But I could not tell anyone I tought of that. Luckly, Harry saved me. "I don't know." And then he ran in the platform. We all folowed him. We wated for the new students. They arrived, but they were speaking english. They were speaking Greek! Greek!?!? That is one of the hardest language to learn. "Hoe come you can speak Greek?" I asked. "We were forced to learn that language." Annabeth said. Right after that, she looked away. She was also jumping. "Sorry, we all have ADHD. Kinda hard to concatrate." Percy said. "Some of us also have dyslexia." Oh! Thats why they had trouble reading. I saw that when we were at diagon alley. "Because we are so many, we will have to separate to find a compartement." The groupes were: Will, Nico, Jason and Piper, Frank, Hazel, Leo and Calypso, finally, Me, Harry, Ron, Percy and Annabeth. Ginny desided to go with Neville and Luna. Of course I had to sit 8 hours with Annabeth. We found of compartment close to the slytherin part of the train. As we were walking inside, Malfoy came. "Well, well, well. Is it famous Harry Potter. The one who defeted the dark lord." Percy and Annabeth face turned form confused to scared. They know something about the war. "Shove off Malfoy" Ron said. "Why would I want to do that? The new students are right here." Malfoy replied with. "What an ugly boy" Annabeth said. "What did you say!?!?" Malfoy said. "I said you are UGLY! Are you deaf?" "Ooo. We have a feisty new student." " You want to see feisty!" Annabeth said as she tried to roll up her sleve. "Annabeth, he is not worth the trouble. You kill him in a forest where no one can see. Not in front of everyone." Percy said. Malfoy looked scared. He started to say something but just left. Percy and Annabeth just walked into the compartment like noghting happend. "How did you do that?" Ron asked. "Do what?" Percy said. "Make Malfoy leave. Thats the first time it ever hapend!" "Oh its easy!" Annabeth said. "You just talk about death. It always scare them away" Creeoy. How does she knows that!! Anyway, Me and Annabeth spend most of our time on train reading. When we arrived, some how, we all manedge to fit in one carridge. The carridge were pull bt Thestral. When I say all, I mean all. All the exchange students could see them. "What are those?" Jason asked. "Those are thestral" Harry ansewred. "You can only see them if you saw death. So, some one die." They all started tearing up a little. I wonder who they saw die. "If you don't mind, can you tell us who you saw die?" I asked. "We saw alot of our friend die." Percy said. "Lets get in." We went into the caridge. When Annabeth saw Hogwarts, her eyes went whild. She started talking about the design about the exterior. We got seperated when we arrived. "Ah, the exchange student. Come with me." Said Prof.Mcgonagall. Me, Harry and Ron went to sit at the Grifindor table.
