~ Lily ~
Students.
Students everywhere.
Our school that we used to go to couldn't even amount to a quarter of this school. It was so freaking huge.
And on top of everything else, this place was an art school. Hundreds of students were carrying instruments of all sorts.
Other hundreds were fashionistas, or had eclectic tastes in style. Definitely not your average high school.
I attached myself to Nikolai, desperately trying not to get lost in the crowd. If he had grunted in detest, I wouldn't have even heard him.
Inside the school was worse.
Hallways were bright with posters advertising to come to join this club, or to participate in this event, and even 'please, we need more members!'.
Nikolai's locker was in the same hallway as mine, and luckily, we were right next to each other.
"So, what's your first class?" He asked me, heaving his bass onto his back.
I pulled my dance bag out of the locker.
"Dance." I answered, as some boy whistled at me.
I could see Nikolai tense up, and his eyebrows furrowed.
"Let me take you to class."
"But your class is in the upper right wing. Mine is in the lower right."
"I don't care. Let's go, Lil." Nikolai said, taking off in the direction of the dance studio. I puffed behind him breathlessly.
As we came to the studio, I felt right at home.
"Thanks, Niko." I said, grinning. He grinned back.
"Whatever. Stay out of trouble, okay?" He said on his way out, shutting the glass door behind him lightly.
Suddenly, a tall skinny woman with frizzy sandy blonde hair daintily stepped up to me.
"You must be new!" She greeted with her bird-like voice. I nodded sheepishly, smiling.
"What's your name, dear?" She said, guiding me in front of the classroom, filled with skinny girls and extremely fit boys.
Dancers everywhere.
"Lily." I said, speaking as loudly as I could muster without squeaking nervously.
"Louder, dear! Nobody can hear you."
"My name is Lily. A-And I've been dancing for 11 years." I introduced. I didn't feel the sudden urge to crawl into a hole like I usually do when I speak to a large group of people.
"I am Ms. Sirois, and this is your dance class."
Several students smiled at me welcomingly. A few looked slightly confusedly at me, and one girl glared at me.
My first class of the day, and already this. Oh god.
We were dismissed from my little introduction, and I was allowed to go change. We warmed up, and learned dance combinations that I was estatic to learn.
After Dance, I had Theater.
Hooray.
I made my way to the colossal auditorium and sat in one of the seats.
A bunch of kids were lingering until the teacher decided to show after the bell rang. In fact, I thought the teacher was another student.
He was a skinny twig of a guy, with circular glasses and a shoulder length ponytail.
