Chapter 8

Army's pov:

I slammed the door to the apartment shut and walked over to my room.

Why did I even bother talking to him? I was only going to cause trouble. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my head
"Ow" I muttered to myself while placing
My hand on my head. Must be a headache, of course. I should get some paracetamol.

I dragged myself out of bed as soon as I stepped out skull was staring at me like
A weirdo. "What?" I snapped placing my hands on my hips. He didn't say anything but turn his head away back to the cake on the plate in front of him.
Tsk- he barely talked anyways I wasn't going to get anything out of him anyways.

I walked over the door and went outside. All I needed was some medicine that's it It shouldn't take to long since theres a pharmacy somewhere near the square. I started speed walking and just wanted to get this silly headache to go away. I stopped when I saw a familiar face near the cafe, Aloha? He was standing there leaning against the wall on his phone.

I wanted to say something but that would be awkward. I turned my head away and power walked by him in attempt for him to not see me. "Hey army!" Aloha called out waving his hand smiling. "Hey" I awkwardly said as I tried to shuffle away. "Wanna hang?" The pink haired squid asked. I mean I couldn't say no he already hated me so that wasn't an option. "Sure" I sighed aloha skipped over and we started walking. "So where you goin'?" Aloha questioned "pharmacy, I have a headache" "Awh" he replied with sympathy.

We both walked over to the pharmacy and stopped almost like we never saw something like it before. "cool, I'll wait outside unless you want me go with you" Aloha chuckled. Was it bad I wanted him to come in with me? Or was this just nervousness? "You can come with me" I ordered to not sound needy. "Ok,Ok! I'm coming!" Aloha teased.

After a while of rummaging through some stuff we found what I was looking for and we soon left after. "Its fun having you round even if it's just boring stuff like this." Aloha said while running over to catch up with me. I almost felt comforted by those words A small smile spread across my face "yeah, same" I replied.

"I wanted to ask you something, you um just seemed quite off lately is there something wrong?" As soon as aloha finished his sentence I could feel the awkwardness in the air. I pretended I didnt hear him and just walked off.

Aloha's pov:

"Hey! W-wait don't run away again!" I yelled running after him. I was too late army quickly turned the corner and was far from here but I was determined to know what was wrong. He stopped at a wall in defeat catching his breath as I drew closer to him. "Ar...my" I huffed out of breath using the wall as a rest. Before I could say another word army's hands where wrapped around me pulling me to the floor. "H-hey!" I squealed I attempted to shove him off but soon realised he was crying.

"Army... I-" not a single word could escape my mouth. Soon my phone rang
It was Skull, of course it was him we where gone for hours of course he would grow suspicious.
