The moment I opened my eyes, the tears started. I didn't know why I was being such a baby about this- Robby and I weren't even together that long. Okay, so we were coming up on a year as soon as school started up again. My heart truly ached, and my mind raced. I forgot that Vinnie was next to me for a second, but when I looked there, he wasn't. It was just me, alone in his bed.

I sniffled, closing my eyes and pressing my hands up against my temples. "Camila? Oh, you're up. Hey, hey, shh," Vinnie, once again, wrapped my small frame up in his arms, resting his head on mine.

"I'm sorry. I'm being such a baby, oh my God," I wiped my eyes.

"Stop apologizing. I hate it when you think everything's your fault." he told me. "It's okay to be upset,"

"I'm such a pussy." I said. "Why are you even friends with me?" I asked, jokingly.

"You sound like the Cobras. Shut up." Vinnie laughed. "And honestly, I don't know why we're friends. I mean, you basically almost killed me when we first met,"

"Oh, I almost killed you? Asshole," I giggled. "You ran me over with a skateboard!" I shrieked.

"See? There's that smile I love," he said, softly, kissing my temple.

"Okay, Casanova," I pushed him off of me. My face fell for a second, wondering why I would push him away. His comfort gave me butterflies. I didn't really want him to let go. I smiled, again, and stood up. "Well, I look like shit," I laughed. "Uh, any chance you can take me to my house to get ready for the day? I kind of...left my things at the LaRusso's."

"Sure," Vinnie shrugged. "We can get breakfast, too," he said.

"Okay," I replied. "No karate today?"

"Not if you don't want to go," he said. I nodded.

"Thank you," I whispered. "Seriously,"

"Anything for you," he smiled. "Come on,"

After I got myself ready for the day, I stood in front of my mirror, eyes landing on a picture of my brother and I, from when we just moved here. I sighed. "Hey, Vin? Do you think we can stop at the uh, Cobra Kai dojo before breakfast?" I asked.

"What?" Vinnie as surprised, as he walked into my room, his hand over his eyes.

"I'm dressed, doofus," I threw a pillow at him, and he uncovered his eyes, which were wide. "And chill. I just want to talk to Miggy," I sighed.

"You sure?" he asked, softly. I nodded.

"I just-- I need to," I said.

"Okay, yeah, we can go there. But I'm not coming inside," he huffed.

"Okay, wuss," I teased.

I walked into the dojo with my head down. Johnny, at the front of the room, was talking to the class, with actual compassion. I was surprised.

"Which leads me to today's lesson-- Miss Diaz, can I help you?" he caught me. Everyone turned to glare at me, my brother, more surprised.

"Sorry, sir," I cleared my throat. Johnny's face fell when I called him that. What did he expect? He's a jerk. "Uh, can I please speak to Miguel?"

"Of course," Johnny said. "Diaz, go talk to your sister,"

"Thank you, Sensei," Miguel bowed, and rushed over to me, pulling me outside. "Hey, uh, what're you doing here?" he asked.
