Maeve walked down the hallway, running her fingers along the stone that made them.
She started singing quietly to herself, pushing off the wall into an elegant spin with her arms spread and head faced towards the ceiling.  She smiled to herself enjoying being alone in the quiete halls.
"I'm in a field of dandelions
Wishing on every one that you'd be mine."
Maeve was the type of person that made people stare at her in confusion and amazement, but she never knew that.  Everyone would watch her as she danced through the halls, and wondered away from the class to explore a flower field.
Even though people watched her, they would never approach.  She was always quiet and had few friends, not to mention if they did, they wouldn't quit understand her.
Many people just knew her as Cedric Diggorys weird younger sister, or the disgrace of her hufflepuff family.
What Maeve didn't know at this moment was that a tall ginger was leaning against the wall at the end of the hallway, admiring from afar.
She sang and hummed and twirled, a light smile on her face.   Fred watched her in amazement as she spun around.  He wondered when the day would come that he would actually talk to her, without teasing her of course.

Maeve pinched at her tight black dress and sighed.  " Do we have to go to a gryffendor party.?" She said with some annoyance in her voice.  "Yes.  Now get your shoes and stop complaining.  Draco will kill me if I'm late." Her dorm mate Pansy said while sliding on a rhinestone bracelet, looking rather annoyed.
Pansy was Maeves only 'girl' friend in Slytherin and wasnt the best to be around, but she would take what she can get.
Maeve tied her hair up in a pony tail and put on her black heels.  "Oh and dont forget the fi-" Pansy stopped mid sentence, looking Maeve up and down with a smirk.  "You look hot." She said in a surprised tone.
"I know." Maeve said grabbing a bottle that was sitting beside you.  "What are you waiting for, let's go." Maeve  said with a smirk passing Pansy.
She was never the most confident, but sometimes she felt like a baddie and wanted to show herself off.
Maeve and Pansy made there way to the Gryffendor common room and Pansy  whispered the password (which she got out of a naive first year)
     They were in.
