On a cold winter evening, a doe was born. The doe's father was none other than Dasher, A famous reindeer pulling Santa's slay on Christmas nights to deliver presents to all the kids in the world.
"Oh, look at her go. She's standing up." The doe's mother said, she went by the name of Penelope. The doe began to shakingly walk to her father and then collapsed to the ground. "Oh dear. Well that's all right. She did incredibly well, don't you think?" Penelope said and Dasher smiled.
"I've got a name. How about, Maevis?" Penelope said and Dasher looked deep into the little doe's eyes and smiled. "Maevis, what a marvelous name." He said and Maevis began to shakingly stand up and squeal in excitement. "It seems she likes the name as well," Penelope said and she began to cough and lie down on her side.
"Its getting worse isn't it?" Dasher asked worringly and Penelope looks up in defeat. "I'm scared, Dasher." She said and he scoots Maevis into her mother's chest.
"We're going to the infirmary in the morning. Drink some water. Let's all get some rest, Its been quite a night for all of us." Dasher said and held a cup of water with his mouth to set down in front of Penelope.
The three went to bed peacefully and got up early just when the sun peaked over the snowy mountains.
"Its only going to get worse, I'm sorry to say this but I don't think there is anything to help with this sickness." The doctor elf said and Dasher stomped his hoof onto the ground and demanded for a different doctor.
"Dasher please calm down, Its ok." Penelope said and kissed dasher on the cheek and apologized to the doctor.
Penelope died the next week after not waking up on morning, her body couldn't go on for another day of suffering pain. Dasher quit on pulling the slay and died on the stress and depression of his wife and daughter.
Santa declared that he would take in Maevis.

Blitzen and Mitzi took Rudolph out to see the snow.
"We call this, Snow." Mitzi showed Rudolph and scooped up a bit of snow on her hoof and let it fall to the ground.
"Snnoow?" Rudolph said and looked at the ground and all around him. "Snow! Snow, Snow!" He cheered out loud and jumped around. In front of his parents and then smiled at them. He walked passed them and kicks a ball of snow onto Blitzen's face. Blitzen shakes the snow off his face and sighs.

"Mitzi, he's at it again." Blitzen complained.
"I dont see what the problem is." Mitzi replied and watched Rudolph play in the snow.
"Noses are Not supposed supposed to glow." Blitzen said in stress.
"Says who?" Mitzi asked and the two of them heard a voice call out to Blitzen.
