*SASUKE*
We arrived back at the stables and the butterflies were still following behind Sakura. How was she not noticing this moment? "Hey Sakura, I don't want to alarm you but ever since we left from your father's burial sight butterflies have been trailing behind you." Sakura slowly turned her head and she was completely astonished at the sight.
"Sasuke, why is this happening? What does this mean?" I dismounted my Storm and helped Sakura off of Honey before I responded. "I'm not sure what it means but I think it means that you're special Sakura. In a way of something extraordinary. I'm not sure what this means for you either, but we should find out soon." Sakura reached out her hand at one of the butterflies and watched as one landed right in her palm. "Lets take them to the garden." Sakura nodded her head and just as the before while we walked they trailed behind Sakura.
Soon after arriving in the garden the butterflies scattered to the flowers. "I can't believe this is happening. I've always just had the power to heal, but I didn't know anything about this. I wonder what this means." Sakura gave me puzzling look but I had no idea what was going on either. Hell I didn't even know she had the power to heal. I guess she wanted to keep it a secret in case people would use her for it. I suggested that we go to the library on the eastern side of the castle. There were books on everything from the history of our kingdom and others. Also on different plants and what they can be used for. Even some on the different creatures. I was sure we could something that could help answer Sakura's questions.
Books covered every inch of the library much to Sakura's amusement. We decided to each check a side and meet in the middle and just go from there.
* 2 hours later*
"Midnight Roses and other Rare Flowers."
"Season Nymphs and Their Abilities.' I pulled the book off the shelf and called Sakura over. We sat at the desk and started to read. I wouldn't let it show but I was nervous about this. What if this was all going to be too much for her and she loses control again.
"The history of nymphs is without knowing. However there is a very rare breed of them that are born every few hundred years during each season. This happens when a normal element nymph has an offspring of true love. When an offspring of true love is born of nymph and their spouse, their child will be the most powerful of their season. The power the hold is beautiful but also very dangerous. With the feeling off loss and despair, they can easily lose control and their season will start to take a toll on their surroundings." We stopped reading there as I thought back to when Sakura's father died. Everything at that time started to wither and decay. It only stopped after I got her to calm down. "Sakura, I think this is you or at least what you are. You were so distraught about your father's death everything was withering around you. It didn't stop till you calmed down. I think you're a Season Nymph. The only question is what season is yours. Lets keep reading, maybe the answer is there too."
As we read we found that a season nymph will go through many changes while they try to obtain the full extent of their abilities. Spring nymphs will go through a metamorphosis much like the cycle of a butterfly. Summer nymphs will be enveloped by the rays of the sun during the longest day of the year. Autumn nymphs will seal themselves inside of a tree till the last leaf falls. Finally, winter nymphs will gather all of the fresh fallen snow into an ice coffin. These rare and beautiful creatures often keep in the shadows out of fear of being hunted and killed. Often those who seek them only want to use their abilities to rage surrounding areas, throwing everything out of balance. Just reading all of this was enough to make anyone cautious about approaching a season nymph. It was just luck for me that Sakura was here with me. I was never going to let anyone hurt her in any way.
