Patrick used to work at a coffee shop downtown Toronto, everyday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. All day taking orders. People came and went, asking for their coffee as always, hurried to get to work. He was used to see the same customers everyday, it was a routine. Days could pass nothing changes. It was a very boring job as Patrick says. Serving coffee is not that fun as it may look or sound-it does not look that fun either. Most of the people is friendly, but some days there is someone who is so pissed that if he could, he could grab the jar of tips and leave it empty. Patrick spent everyday waiting for the clock to point 2:30 pm.
Every Monday and Wednesday, Patrick used to walk or ride his bike to the park, where he usually write stories and poems. Most of those stories and poems were based on what Patrick wanted his life to be. His favorite spot of writing was under a tree where the sun rays could pass through the holes between the leaves. For Patrick it was just perfect.
For Tuesdays and Thursdays, he was usually helping his mother out with home stuff or any little thing she needed, those days were just for her and any other day that she needed him.
