Indigo sat on the windowsill outside his room. He loved to sit there high above everything else. He was the king and the birds were his soldiers.
The doorbell rang and Indigo leaped off the windowsill and on to the grass in the front garden. He loved that feeling, the feeling of falling. He landed and the birds fled out of the trees.
"Hello!" he called out but there was nobody there.
"Hello Indigo," and Indigo never had felt the feeling of falling again.

She woke up far to early as usual. Saffron hauled herself out of bed knowing she would never get back to sleep. The voices never let her.
She sat on the sofa and turned on the T.V.
"INDIGO BLAKE WAS THE NEXT VICTIM. THE NEXT ONE IS GONE. EVERYBODY IS UNDER CURFEW. NOBODY IS PERMITTED TO LEAVE THEIR HOMES UNTIL THE ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED!"
Indigo blue, Saffron immediatly thought but there was something else. What was it?
