And Now for something completely Different was the first python film released in 1971 the film contained sketches from the first and second series of flying Circus and was named after the John Cleese catchphrase used in the show but the sketchs were re shot for cinema release the film was directed by Ian macNaughton and was made on a budget of £80,000 the film did not have much to offer fans except that the film was in colour when most television were black and white.
