CHAPTER: 1

People say trauma can change how a person looks at the world, his behavior, feelings and his actions. He distances himself and becomes the person he wasn't, the severe the trauma more the effect. This was the case with Park Jin Ah. She was as bright as the sun, as playful as the wind, and as sweet as a daisy. That all changed when the unthinkable happened and changed her world forever. She had to grow up and take control. The reason was the company named PARK GROUP in Seoul Korea. Just after the day her whole world changed a board meeting was held in order to decide the future of the company. Jin Ah knew from that day forward that she is alone in this world and had no one to help her. The day of the meeting arrived, she put her best face forward and hid any sign of weakness. The conference room was a chaos. All the members of the board were talking at the same time. One of the member spoke, "Jin Ah isn't fit to take over she is still very young she needs time". The second disagreed, "No she perfectly fine this is her company". The board members weren't settling down. PARK EUNJI aunt of Jin Ah shushed everyone down and started to speak, "my sweet niece Jin Ah is still very young she has yet to learn many things in order to run a big company like this. I believe it should be given to someone with more experience". One of the board members Mr. Jang spoke up; "Do you have anyone in mind?" She spoke up with sarcastic smile on her face, "Why yes, in fact I do, someone like me, I must be the one given this company as I" – Jin Ah interrupted her as she walked inside the conferences room and asked mockingly, "you aunt?". Everyone practically froze as they heard her voice; they got up shaking and bowed down for her. She walked towards the table and sat down on the table with her leg on over the other and her hands intervened. She sighed and then looked at her aunt who was at the other end of the table. She made eye contact with her aunt, raised her eyebrows started to speak, "You know aunty I didn't really get up in the morning just to hear your nonsense and listen to those parasite in suits, and let me tell you this I have had enough!" she said with a little irritation in her voice. She stood up without breaking her eye contact with her aunt, curled her lips in a sarcastic smile and said, "You said someone like you should run my company, MY company aunty"? She scoffed a little, she continued while rolling her tongue beside her check, "listen all of you this company is mine and will be mine. I don't intend to give it up. I am the new CEO of the Park Group!". "So I would really like if you can get this inside pf your pea size brain" she continued. After saying this she sat down, sighed, smiled and looked the board members who were facing down too afraid to look up. She laughed and clapped her hands and said excitedly, "okay now let the real meeting began". She once again spoke this time all the members looked at her she said with a stern face and her eyebrows raised up: "Anyone of you has any problem with this can leave and if any one leaves he won't be stopped, because believe me I don't waste my time on you". She knew she had won as everyone remained quiet. After the meeting was over all the members got up and bowed for her as she left the room. As she was leaving her aunt grabbed her hand from her behind and said, "You think you have won, don't think that!" she scoffed a little and continued, "I will take you down I swear and you will have a taste of your medicine". Jin Ah sighed while rolling her eyes. She curled her lips in the most taunting smile and grabbed her aunt by her shoulders, "Oh aunty I think the old age is getting to you, look around you I have already won" she said as her smile was turning into a frown. She flipped her hair and started walking towards her new office. She arrived at her new office and walked towards the table where she saw a stone on that it was written CEO Park Jin hon, she smiled and passed her fingers slowly on the stone and said, "Dad I saved what is yours I saved our home" and a tear ran down her chin. Maybe that was the last time she cried as she was busy building her empire. At an age when people are still considering what to do with their lives she was a running a company.

In just eight years Jin Ah made PARK GROUPS one of the best leading companies not only in Korea but in the world. Their business rose to new heights after she took over the company. The company started to bring money in the Korean economy more than any company in the country. Jin Ah had proved herself and cut down the people who doubted her ability. In those six years a lot had changed in her life. She had become more cold hearted and had a temper. She hated weak people and didn't like sympathy. Everyone was sacred of her and wanted to be on her good side. She didn't have any friend's nor did she have anyone she was close to. She trusted only two people in her life her assistant and her caretaker. She was complete different person from what she was from 8 years ago. People were in awe when wherever they looked her. I mean why wouldn't they? She was young beautiful and not to mention she was rich. She was untouchable.
