The teens raced up the steps of the building, spiraling up the stairs at top speeds. The footsteps of authority hot on their heels.

"Run faster!" Kumo screeched the familiar boom of a gun echoing in the empty building.

One of the members tripped to which Mr. Mama Llama quickly ushered them up not ready to leave one of the idiots he'd looked after for so long behind.

 Tap. Tap. Tap.

Everyone was out of breath by the time they had reached the top. The skies were clear, but the wind nearly swept them off the building on its own. Nearly a minute later the door banged open to the rooftop once more and there stood the police guns raised.

"Stop right there!"

"Don't move another muscle!" Another cop added as he began to talk into his walkie-talkie.

The group looked at each other silently nodding in agreement. The teens had been friends a long time and were practically on the same wavelength always knowing what the other was thinking. They all linked arms and began to step back until they were perched along the edge.

"We said don't move unless you want to fall off this building with a bullet in your head" One policeman hissed raising his weapon in an attempt to scare us out of jumping.

The teens gave the higher-ups a shit-eating grin before raising their middle fingers and slowly falling backward arms still linked. Their whoops and hollers could be heard all the way down as their hair flew wildly around them when a bright light flashed from nowhere swallowing the teens and leaving no traces of them behind.

"Fuck" Muttered the cops simultaneously as they looked over the edge.

"I'M ALIVE!" Mirai yelled as she stood and raised her arms victoriously.

"Where are we?" Kumo asked woozily as she used Mirai's arm to help herself up ultimately dragging Mirai back into the dirt.

"You're right, this looks nothing like–" Wishy's voice trailed off as she looked around.

 "Wheres, mom?" Mirai asked.

 "Mr. Llama?"

 "Aku?"

 "Rumi?"

They both emerged from a near-by dumpster looking bewildered, Mr. Llama helped Aku and Rumi out before climbing out himself and meeting over to where the rest of the teens were standing.

"Are we dead and in heaven?" Rumi asked breathing hard.

"There's no way we'd go to heaven, and besides what bootleg heaven has dumpsters?" Mirai dismissed Rumi's idea with a wave of her hand.

"This definitely isn't Kansas anymore" Kumo murmured, a finger tapping on her chin in thought.

Wishy took the lead as the rest of the teens followed behind her out into the street, Mr. Llama taking up the rear as if he were trying to herd ducklings to follow their leader. They tried to blend into the crowds of people as they looked around at everything unfamiliar to them. Nothing was the same.

Soon they forgot the buildings when they began to notice the people. Some had wings, some horns, some strange appendices that shouldn't, and couldn't be possible.

 "What" Kumo started.

 "The" Mirai whispered after.

 "Fuck?" Wishy finished.

"Mr. Llama, Aku, Rumi.. you guys seeing this?" Mirai asked as she trained her wide eyes on the other three, who nodded feverishly.

They began to walk once more, looking at all the strange people and trying to avoid any social interaction.

"Holy shit, wait, is that a... Pikachu bus?" Kumo breathed out. There it stood, the Pikachu bus in all its yellow glory.
