"Hey guys, funny story.." Rumi started nervously playing with her hands.
Aku sat down the grocery bags and cleared her throat "You may notice.. theirs one less person we came back with-"
"What did you do, wheres Kumo?" Mr. Llama asked eyeing them suspiciously.
"Okay, this is where you're really going to laugh" Rumi continued her gaze faltering "Kumogotkidnappedbutitwasntourfaultsheclimbedinwithweirdoswhoofferedfreecandy."
Mr. Llama's eye twitched "What did you say?"
"Kumo got kidnapped but it wasn't our fault she climbed in with weirdos who offered free candy!" Rumi yelled.
Just as Rumi yelled that last bit of information the phone began to ring. Wishy paused and walked over to it picking it up "Bus of Chaos' residence how may I help you?"
"We have the girl, give us the amount of money we want and we'll let her go, if you say no, we'll kill her" A dark voice spoke over the phone, most likely using a voice changer.
"Who?" Wishy asked inspecting her fingernails boredly.
Rumi huffed "Didn't you hear what I sai-" She was cut off by Wishy holding up a finger and mouthing 'I'm on the phone.'
The kidnapper paused "She has, white hair? Uhh, grey eyes? Pale skin?"
"No, that doesn't ring a bell or shake a tambourine for that matter" Wishy hummed ready to hang up the phone.
"She's telling everyone she's going to harvest our toes, break out of her restraints and hulk smash our building.."
"Ahh! Kumo, yeah we know her!" Wishy replied snapping her fingers in recognition.
Mirai took the phone she'd been listening to the conversation the whole time "Yeah, you don't have her. She has you. Have a good day."
Both girls laughed as they hung up the phone continuing with what they were doing before. Even Mr. Llama sat back in his chair a smirk plastered on his face.
Jojo smiled "Wow, she's really that bad is she?"
Wishy chuckled "She'll be fine."
Rumi and Aku stood in the doorway slack-jawed "We're really.. not going to help her?"
•Not Even Five Minutes Later•
Kumo burst through the door with a satisfied smile on her face, an explosion ringing in the distance "I think that went quite well."
"Welcome back" Jojo giggled patting her shoulder.
Rumi and Aku ran to her sobbing "We're sorry we didn't help you, we thought you were smarter than to go with random strangers!"
Kumo deadpanned "Glad to know you had faith in me." But she hugged them back anyway.
