This book is one of the great books by isabelleronin. Some of her other books include 'Spitfire in Love', 'Reckless in Love' and 'Wicked in Love'. If you've heard of any of her books you should know that she is a very talented author.
Now 'Chasing Red' is a love story following a girl named Veronica and a boy named Caleb. They go to the same college but first meet in a club. Caleb is instantly drawn Veronica. Caleb invites her to stay at his apartment and starts to call her 'Red' because of her dress. Of course like any book there's that one person who just can't imagine the leading man without them and sabotages the relationship between the main characters.
In this book Camilla and Cameron make appearances. Camilla becomes Veronica's best friend and Cameron is Caleb's best friend.
I will say that although it does follow some rules of the good girl bad boy cliche it really isn't very cliche. It has plenty of plot twists. I don't recommend reading it if you don't like life threatening events or thing like that because there are small things like this.
This book is definitely a 9.5-10/10, I highly recommend this book and her other books as well.
