(A/N- This first chapter is kind of slow and lame, but needed for all necessary introductions to be made and story line to form)

August 18th, 2000

"Here! Let me get that for you!" A high-pitch bubbly voice called out.

"Thank you! Nice to know there's still good samaritans out here."

"Well, yeah! Do you need help carrying in anything?"

Noelle Montez looked behind the big stack of sub sandwiches to see a petite woman with brown hair & blonde highlights. Her smile was big & bright. Beaming genuine kindness.

"Uh, yeah! That would be great. There should be 2 bags of chips, and cookies."

"Great! Which is your car?"

"The black one out front. It should be unlocked."

"Where are these going?"

"Studio A."

"Oh! That's where my husband is!" The woman squealed and ran out to Noelle's car.

Noelle walked down the hall to Studio A and kicked the bottom of the door in hopes someone would open it. A man with prismatic red hair, caramel skin , a petite goatee, and brown eyes opened the door.

"Awh hell yea! Look guys! Food is here!" To Noelle this guy looked like an anime character right out of a comic or something. The other band members all seemed to have a style of their own.

The happy helper Noelle ran into earlier walked through the door and handed the assistant the bags of chips and cookies.

"Thank you so much. I wish I had 4 arms sometimes! I'd certainly get more accomplished!"

"No worries at all! Happy to help! I haven't seen you around before..."

"Oh! That's because I've been off at school, back in my home state. I've graduated and have moved out here full time. I used to intern for Jeff Blue in the summers, but now I'm his full-time P.A."

"P.A.?"

"Personal Assistant."

"The best assistant ever! Good call on the sandwiches!" Jeff high-fived the assistant.

"I ordered extras, please, help yourself."

"Thank you! I'm Sam, by the way!" The woman extended her hand.

"Noelle. Nice to meet you."

"This is my husband, Chester. Chester! Babe come over here real quick!"

A lanky man with curly hair and dark rimmed glasses approached the two women. His fingernails were painted black, his wrists etched in blue & reddish-orange flames, leading up to the koi fish on each of his biceps. His face looked so earnest, so innocent. A baby-face one would say... and he had a lip ring. However, his big innocent soulful eyes caught Noelle's attention. His eyes seemed to close the gap where his words fell short. The brunette knew you could learn a lot by looking someone in the eye, and from what she could see, there was a hint of sadness in those doey-eyes.
