18)Fireworks of feelings

Jack's POV-

I really can't wait to see Bria. I tried to ask her out the other day but of course Hayes had to break his arm. I told her I liked someone and wanted to ask them out.

She does t know it's her. But to be honest I don't have a clue on how I should ask her.i want it to be special. Lightbulb. I should play 20 questions with her.

Or maybe something similar. You know I should just search up "how to ask the girl of your dreams out" the internet will have better ideas, but then it's not original.

I want to make her feel special. I want her to feel like one less lonely girl and the only girl in the world. (A:/n justin bieber and Rihanna)

I will ask her out but I will make her wonder. I will play with her mind. PERFECT IDEA! This is going to be great. I literally can't stop smiling.

Hopefully she likes me back or this will just make me look like an idiot. She is coming home soon so I have to go get dressed but not dressed up.

I am going to look casual. I am wearing a grey sweatshirt with black skinny jeans. Got to look hot for the ladies.

I walk over to Bria's and knock on the door. I take a deep breathe in and slowly let it out. "Hey. I have great news! Come in" she says all cheeky. I walk in and we sit on the couch.

"What's up?" I say and she responds with crying. Great I already made her cry and all I did was ask her what's up. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry" I say worriedly

"These are tears of joy. Nash isn't in a coma anymore" she says and hugs me. I hug her back tighter her favorite type of hugs. When we release I start to mess.

I lean in closer and kiss her left cheek. The whisper "that's great." When I pulled away I saw her blush. Step one in motion. We are basically half way there.

"So tell me more about the girl you are planning to ask out" she says a little upset. "Well like I said she is beautiful and she has two brothers. She went through a lot and she is so strong which is one of the many things I love" I said and I could see her thinking.

Bria's POV-
While Jack was talking about his perfect girl he said she had two brothers and went through a lot of stuff. That gives me a chance. I smile slightly to myself.

"She sounds wonderful" I say sheepishly. "Oh trust me she is" he says proudly. "When do you plan on asking her out" I say as if it didn't bother me.

On the inside it killed to say that. "Well I am in step one of the operation." He says and shrugs. "Oh that's cool" I say smiling. I have had a lot of practice of sounding and looking like I am happy.

Some people call me a eccedentesiast which is a person who fakes a smile. My fake smile fools a lot though so I guess I am good.

"Sorry I was thinking. What did you say?" I say and slightly blush. "I said" *takes a deep breathe. "Do you want to be my" when he says this my feelings go crazy and I wanna say yes. "Chief. I could really go for some food" when I get this reply I was disappointed.

"Sure. What do you want" I say trying not to cry. "Um pb&j" he says cheeky and I just smile as big as I could. "Sure" "thanks babaygirl" I swear when he calls me baby
Girl I melt.

I walk into the kitchen and he comes in shortly after. When I go to reach for a plate I couldn't reach it. I heard Jack laugh a little in the back.

It's not my fault that it was on the third shelf and I'm like 5'3 or somewhere around there. Maybe I am a little taller by like an inch or three. What did I need again?

Oh right a plate. I get sidetracked easily as you can tell. I go on my tippy toes but no progress. Jack walks over and reaches over me.

He grabs the plate with one of his hands on my shoulder. When he gets it which (was like 3 seconds cause he's a giant)I sigh. "What's wrong shorty" he says and smirks so I just stick my tongue out in reply.

Right now I am against the counter and he is still standing in front of me. "Can you please move" I say playfully hitting his arm.

"No" "why not" I whine. "Do you want some cheese with that wine" he says and laughs at himself. "So funny I forgot to laugh" I reply rolling my eyes.

I am also pretty good with comebacks. That one I did just then was my starter one. I have had a lot of experience. Right Jack. Got to get him to move.

"Can you please move" I say with the best puppy dog eyes I could possibly do. He leaned in and was only 5 centimeters away. Our breathes exchanging and our eyes in an intense gaze

"I am afraid I can't do that. Baby girl" he whispers into my ear. His breathe went tingling through my ear and sent chills down my spine.

He stands back up and picks me up then grows me over his shoulder. "Put me down" I say punching his back which I knew would have no effect on him.

"You have to try harder"he says and slightly chuckles. I give up and let him take me wherever he wants. It's no use in trying.

He brings me outside and says "I hope you know how to swim." "JACK NO. DONT JACK! N-NO" I scream but he throws me in any way.

I come up and spit water at him. "Yum this water is great" he says and I get annoyed. I get out and I am shivering. "C-can you p-please get me a t-towel" I say weakly and Jack looks worried.

He rushes to get me a towel and I dry off. "Sorry" he says with sad eyes. I decide to mess with him. so I give him the silent treatment.

"Bria come on. I am sorry" he pleads but I just get up and walk inside. He chases after me and looks like he is going to cry. And me being stupid I cave in.

"Sorry. I was just messing" I say giggling "as long as you're not mad at me we are good" he says smiling so big.

I love him. I wish I was that girl so badly. "What?" Jack says and I turn a bright red. Shoot did I really just say that out loud. "Nothing" I say nonchalantly and ask "do you still want that sandwich?" I quickly get up and run to the kitchen.

He walks in behind me and grabs my arm. I turn around and I feel so embarrassed. "What did you say back there"he say seriously.

Jack knows when I am lying so if I lie to him he will catch me red handed, but if I don't lie then he will know I like him and then our friendship will be ruined.

"I-i" I started to say and now I look even more stupid. "What?" He says never breaking the gaze. I took a deep breathe to stall "I said he's so silly" and looked down to make it seem more believable.

"Oh" he says a little disappointed. "Hey um a I have to go but I'll call you later." He says and then just leaves me there. Great job me. I think I should win the award for the best human repellant!
