The bed creaks and Valerie pops up panicked saying, "it was just a dream.." she says gasping for air, with her eyes wide open, "why do I keep having that same dream over and over again." She says curiously, "I would usually start to stress about it but today is my first day of school!" She says happily and exited as she then walks out of bed to get ready for her first day of school. "Goodmorning mom!" Valerie says to her mom, "good morning" her mother says back, "where's dad?" Valerie asks, "he's at work, he won't be back until night" Angie says. "Oh, ok well um also, do I have to wear this bunny costume? Can't I just be a dragon my normal self?" Valerie says, "I thought I've told you this, I wish you could, but it's too dangerous out there, there's bad people and who knows what they'd do." Angie says sweetly, "yeah, I know.." Valerie replies, 'moms right, there are bad people out there, people like hunters, who'd hunt me the second they'd get the chance to.' Valerie says in her head. "Well, I better get going, I don't want to be late on my first day!" Valerie says, "alright, be safe Val!" Her mother says. Valerie then walks out the door for her first day of school.
