Camp Out

Y/n Chambers's P.O.V.
"Hamilton 'The babe' Porter, Long-Ball Porter" Ham obviously said he then did the babe Ruth pose and we all started to laugh at him, Kenny pitched the ball and Ham missed. Everyone was laughing when Kenny said "This is my heater I dare you to hit it!" Ham hit it.. into some backyard? Smalls started to climb over but everyone ran over and got him off he looked so confused, and so did I. "Holy crap you could've been killed!" Squints said while he was panting like a dog "Yeah yeah truly what are you doing?!" Yeah yeah said catching his breath "I was going to get our ball back" Smalls said "You can't go back there Smalls." Benny said like that was the love of his life. (I don't feel like putting the whole scene) "CAMP OUT" all the boys yell. "Holy shit. Why did you guys yell that in my ear."

They all laugh and we all ran home, I got some shorts and a short sleeve t-shirt. I ran to the Timmons tree house, it was cold out but I didn't care. Yeah yeah helped me up the latter because I was terrible at climbing. When I got inside I saw Ham teaching Smalls what a s'more is and everyone fighting over someone cutting something I didn't listen to much, Squints told the beast story it was all bs but whatever. After we played truth or dare, we'll Kenny forced me to play but Squints asked me "truth or dare Y/n" I thought either way this could go wrong so I said "dare" he smirked and said "I dare you to tell us about your first kiss!" Squints said and I was hating my life right then.

*Flashback to the summer of 1962*
"Hey guys!" I said walking over to the dugout with everyone in it. Everyone waved watching me sit down next to Brayden. I watched as everyone gave suggestions on what to do instead of baseball today. Once a month we would go do something other then baseball. Everyone suggested one thing after another but soon we came to a suggestion on a movie night. "Is anyone parents not home and or on business?" Elliot asked as everyone went silent. Brayden hit the side of my thigh gently knowing my parents weren't home. "Yeah mine aren't home." I said raising my hand. "Great! Let's go." Ian said as we all walked to my house. We walked on the sidewalk. I always thought holding hands with your friends was normal (I found out later it wasn't.)

Brayden was holding my hand as we walked to my house. I unlocked the door as Brayden let go of my hand. Everyone gather around the T.V. in my living room. We ended up watching some comedy that everyone ended up falling asleep to as it was boring as hell. I was still up as was Brayden. Soon a kissing scene came on and me and Brayden looked away laughing. "That's so cringey." Brayden said laughing, I laughed with him. I looked back at the screen and then to him. "Who do you want your first kiss to be?" I asked Brayden, He hummed for a moment before saying. "I don't know someone I know well so it won't be awkward." He admitted. Next moment we were both leaning in.

*Back to present*
"So embarrassing" I said face palming myself. "At least you had your first kiss!" Bertram said as everyone laughed at my terrible first kiss. "Yeah yeah" I said rolling my eyes. We played for about another hour before falling asleep.
