It's not great being the daughter of a demigod. Especially Hercules. Some people might like it but I hate it he always wants me to be something I'm not. He tells me I need more friends or that I shouldn't be scared of the outside world but in all honesty I am scared of it I'll just never admit it to anyone apart from myself.
"Y/n dear. Come get your breakfast" my father told me knocking on my door before walking back down the stairs to the kitchen.
I got up taking off my pyjamas and putting on some baggy clothes. I then walked to my bathroom and rubbed my eyes washing my face. I sighed deeply walking out the bathroom and rushing down the stairs into the kitchen taking a seat at the table. I sat at the opposite end of my father. He didn't like it but he tried his best to ignore it.
It was quiet. I didn't like quiet. It makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong which I mostly am so I asked my father.
"Do you have to go to work today?" I never ask him this.
"I think so yes." He said while pausing to tell me something. "While I'm at work you will be going to head quarters."
I froze. "Head quarters? Why?" I raised my voice.
"You need to stop thinking people won't like you dear, I'm sure they'll love you" he faintly smiled.
"Oh really? Isn't that why mother left?" I scoffed. My father also didn't like when I talk about my mother. I never knew who she was or what she looked like all I know is that she gave birth to a monster.
"Do NOT speak about your mother." My father yelled. He never used to yell at me but I guess he's at his limit of being calm towards me. "Now you will make sure you get ready to meet new people. Now."
I groaned and ran upstairs into the bathroom brushing my teeth. As I looked into the mirror I gazed upon the necklace my mother gave me. It's the only thing I have of her. The only thing. I wish i knew her, i don't care if she left because of me I just want to know my mother even if it's for a while..
"Y/n come on now!" My father shouted from downstairs. I grabbed my bag with random things I liked to carry around and followed my father outside as we headed to the pegasus stables. I had a light grey pegasus named Astéri who was my best friend and was with me at birth. We grew up together.
My father and I got on and started flying through the sky towards head quarters. It was quite a big building and it's quite obvious it's a head quarters for the heroes.
I looked up at the sky and saw tech-no and miracle guy falling towards the ground.
"Erm..dad?" I pointed up towards to the two. His eyes opened wide and told me to go inside and find ms. Granada. Him and her were dating which I found gross. I ran inside and started looking for her quickly. I finally found her talking to someone and I rushed over to them.
"Ms. Granada my father saw Tech-no and Miracle guy falling towards the ground outside!" I said out of breath.
"Really? Where?" She said
"Outside!" I yelled. Didn't she hear me?
She told her men to follow her outside and to catch Tech-no and Miracle Guy. A random lady told me to follow her to the office to wait for my father I nodded and followed her upstairs.
When we got to the office I turned on the TV and saw on the news a giant alien space ship and it showed Miracle guy being hit out of the sky.
"So that's why.." I whispered to myself.
I continued to watch the news as I saw ms. Granada kiss my father outside of her office window "yuck" I said. They soon came in and ms. Granada told me to come with her quickly. My father was told to go straight to the other heroes.
"Wait dad!" I yelled trying to go to him but ms. Granada held me back dragging me away. "Dad! DAD!" I kept on telling as I saw him smile at me before running off. I pushed her off me, kept a few feet away from her and followed her to a bunker in the basement of the building which I've never seen before.
"In here you will meet the other heroes children." She glared at me. I rolled my eyes. Great. kids.
She opened the metal door and everyone looked at me "everyone this is y/n Raven. She will be staying with you all down here. Back to work!" She smiled walking out of the room.
There was only one pair of eyes I took interest in. A boy in the back of the class.
