"Astra, let's go." She was already drunk as fuck.
"Okay, sayaw lang ako saglit." I couldn't hear her properly because it was too loud. She made her way to the dance floor. I massaged my temples, ito na naman siya. Tumayo ako at sinundan ang magaling kong kaibigan.
I can't name the music but it was catchy. Astra started dancing to it. This is my first time seeing her like this, having a lot of fun. I smiled, I started recording her, for future purposes.
She started twerking, lumayo ako sa kaniya. She caught other people's attention. They began cheering, Astra is becoming wilder.
"Okay, that's it. Tara na," I grabbed her wrist then went to the exit. I opened her car's door. "Stay there," I told her. She pouted then she closed the door. Buti na lang may malapit na store.
I bought some water for her to drink. Nanghingi rin ako ng plastic, baka sumuka. Pagkadating ko sa parking area, Astra's car was already moving.
"Putangina..." I chased it, good thing she drives slowly so I managed to catch up. I knocked at the window. Binuksan niya naman agad.
"Who told you that you're gonna drive? Lipat ka." She moved to the passenger's seat. I gave her the water and plastic before wearing the seatbelt.
"Para saan 'to?" She asked, her eyes closing.
I let out a deep sigh, lakas ng tama. I began driving. Astra turned on the stereo and connects her phone. She played 'Getaway Car' by Taylor Swift. She was singing out loud like a mad woman.
Few minutes, nagsimula na siyang sumuka. She was quick enough to put the plastic near her mouth. Just a little bit more...
I stopped the car outside of their house. I assisted her while she swore she'll never drink again. "Where's the key?" I asked.
"Ha? Why are you englishing me?" She said looking dizzy. Tumawa ako nang mahina. "What's laughing? You correct my english? I correct your face." I bit my lower lip to stop myself from surpassing a loud laugh. "Joke, ganda mo pala, walang aayusin."
Ako na lang nagcheck sa bag niya. It took me almost a minute to find it. I unlocked the door and switch on my phone for light. We climbed the stairs carefully, making sure not to create a noise. I don't want tita to witnessed how wasted her daughter is.
Pagkadating namin sa kwarto niya, she immediately ran to the the bathroom. Pumunta naman ako sa kusina nila to get some cold water. I quietly checked if they have instant cup noodles, luckily, there was.
Yakap na ni Astra ang bowl. "Last na talaga 'to, hindi na ulit ako iinom." She spoke, her voice full of regret.
I lay down the noodles and glass I'm carrying on her desk. I readied her pajama and undies. Then walk towards the bathroom.
"Are you still alive?"
"Mamamatay na ata ako."
"Maligo ka na."
"Hindi ko nga kayang tumayo, maligo pa kaya?"
I washed her face bago ko inayos ang upo niya. I undressed her leaving her undergarments. I reached for the shower before turning it on. Binasa ko ang buhok ni Astra then I shampooed it.
"Ano ba! Nababasa ako!" She shouted.
"That's the main point ng pagligo." Gods, if she only knew how drunk she is right now. "And please, don't be too loud."
"Okay," She uttered.
Finally, tapos ko na rin siyang paliguan. I grabbed her bathrobe and towel. She wore her robe before taking off her wet undergarments. I wipe her hair, gently.
