*Peter's POV*
It was about a week or so since I've left Neverland.
I decided to return to the house with the 4 children and visit while they were asleep.
The oldest ran in an jumped on her bed. About a hour later, the two boys and the mother carrying the sleeping little toddler in her arms followed and settled into bed.
The last nightlight was lit and the mother left the room, leaving the children to sleep.
I waited about thirty more minutes before opening the window and carefully stepped into the dim room.
Tinkerbell followed me close behind. Over the past week, I've regained contact with her.
She's changed. She was married now and had a little fairy of her own.
I was slightly surprised that she was able to come with me. She was so busy recently.
We floated through the room and I stopped when my head touched the ceiling.
I could see the room clearly. It was quiet and dim which made it slightly hard to see.
It made me think of the night that I met and took Wendy and her brothers to Neverland.
Except I wasn't missing my shadow, but now, I'm missing Wendy.
I felt tears forming at the corners of my eyes. The sad thoughts made me slowly fall to the floor where The tears began sliding down my cheeks.
Quiet sobs left my shaking body as I laid in the floor of the nursery.
I hadn't noticed that the oldest sat up and was watching me over the edge of her bed until she spoke.
I jumped up and kept going until my head hit the ceiling. I was a bit frightened but followed her request and came down.
I bowed and stood in front of her while she talked, even though I didn't reply very much until she asked a very particular question.
"I-I don't know if I can take you... Or anyone else... To Neverland. Last time I did..." My voice faded away.
I stared at the floor and the room was engulfed in silence for a while.
"Well, you don't have to take me or anyone else if you don't want to but I would find it absolutely lovely to go. I never get to do anything exciting. It's boring here. My father said I'd have to grow up and move out of the nursery tomorrow. But I don't want to grow up!" She said and stamped her foot.
"Well, that sounds terrible. Growing up is a truly beastly thing. That's why I ran away and went to Neverland where I met Tink," I said, gesturing to the fairy peeking out from over my shoulder.
"Believe me when I say this. I would take you since I know how bad growing up is, but I don't want the same thing to happen again. I don't want to end up alone." I said the last part quietly and stared at the floor.
She looked a bit concerned, like she heard what I said. I probably shouldn't of said it.
".... But.... If you want to go so badly, maybe for 1 day. But JUST 1 day. Only a simple tour and then back home by the day after next." I said, negotiating.
She smiled widely and then it fell as she backed up to her brothers' beds. "Can my brothers come too?" She asked.
I slowly came closer and looked at the two sleeping boys. They were softly snoring and one was almost falling off the bed.
I thought it over for a bit. "Sure.... I guess." I said and shrugged.
She smiled again and shook her brothers awake.
