                **Allie's POV**

The mermaids were beautiful. Their long, shimmering hair fluttered behind them in the crystal clear water. Their tails flowed with the water, keeping them above the surface. Peter happily chatted with them while I stared in awe at how mesmerizing they were.

One of them swam right up to me and looked at my face with curiosity in her eyes. She clicked a few times but since I couldn't understand what she was saying, I cocked my head in confusion then looked to Peter.

"What did she say?" I asked him. He looked at me with a laughing, probably about what the mermaid he was talking to just said.

"Oh. She was just wondering who you are. She asked your name." He said and clicked to the mermaid looking at me. She smiled and nodded then swam away, her tail shining in the water under the sun that was slowly sinking below the horizon.

I thought to myself for a moment and swished my hand in the water, then I remembered something very, VERY important.

"MY BROTHERS!" I said, jumping to my feet. "I forgot about my brothers!" I said and shook Peter's shoulder. He turned around and looked at me as if I had startled him. "We have to find my brothers! They're probably out there, scared and alone." I said, more to myself than him.

"Wen- Allie!" Peter said loudly and shook my shoulders to get my attention. "Listen to me! We can go check the indian tribe and see if they found them. Chances are that they have. They're everywhere and will take any unknown/new person to their tribe." He said.

I nodded, unsure if what he said was true or not but I had to hold on to that hope that somebody other than those pirates found them and that they're safe.

                **Matthew's POV**

"I can't believe we're stuck in this jungle." I said, pushing tree limbs and bushes out of the way. I was stuck wandering through the jungle in my night clothes with my little brother and Allie nowhere to be found.

"For all we know, those pirates can jump out and get us at any time." I muttered to myself so Joshua wouldn't hear. The jungle seemed to go on and on forever. The tall trees made a giant green umbrella over us and we could barely see the sky. The ground was damp and muddy so every few steps we would sink to our ankles but continued trudging on.

"Do you think Peter and Allie are looking for us now?" asked Josh.

"Well I would like to hope so." I replied, walking through a shallow stream. From a distance I heard yelling and voices. They didn't sound completely friendly so I didn't let take any chances. I grabbed Josh's hand and we walked as fast as we could through the jungle.

The voices came closer until suddenly we heard a weird SNAP sound and we were both down in a hole. It was deep enough for us to not be able crawl out of but it was shallow enough that someone could help us out. Within minutes, multiple faces appeared on every side of the hole.

Some of the faces were painted and some looked to be about my and Josh's age. I could tell Josh was scared by the way he held on to my night clothes. For a six-year-old, he had a strong grip.

"Are you friend or foe?" a deep voice asked us.

"Friend. We are friend. We mean you no harm." I say and hold up my hands like I was surrendering. They all looked at each other then back down at us.

"Prove it." the same voice said. "How did you get here?" it continued.

"Peter Pan brought us here. We flew with pixie dust from the fairy that's sometimes with him, uhh, Tinkerbell. I think." I said, hoping they were friends with him. It was against my better judgment to come here but my curiosity got the best of me.

A rope was soon thrown down the hole and we held on while they pulled us up. Once we climbed to our feet, I examined the faces around us. Some of them were clearly from an indian tribe while others were just boys in makeshift clothes and animal skin hats.

"So you know Peter? Are you perhaps Matthew and Josh, Allie's brothers? Peter sent us to look for you so we enlisted the help of the Indians. They're great trackers as you can tell." said one of the shorter ones wearing a skunk on their head.

"Yes and yes. We don't know where our sister is or where Peter is but I'm just glad we aren't alone here anymore. Say, is there a place where we could go and wait for Peter and our sister? This jungle is dense and we don't know where we are." I said.

"Your sister is with Peter. He was tending to her when he sent us out to look for you two and yes there is a place to go. We're going to take you there now so you can rest for a little while. We'll tell you when Peter and Allie make their way there." replied one of the boys with a rabbit on him.

I nodded and we started the journey to the indian tribe's home.
