                                                  *Peter's POV*

It's felt like years since I've left Neverland and flew to the real world. Maybe because it has been. I haven't left Neverland since Wendy decided to leave and grow up. I never forgave myself for letting her. Tinkerbell was there with me the whole time but I still felt sad.

Out of habit, I started flying towards Wendy's home. I didn't realize I did until I got there and it was dark. Nobody was moving around inside. The old nursery was barren.

I felt the urge to sit down and cry like the night she found me but this wasn't just me losing a shadow, it was me losing someone I fell in love with but didn't admit it.

Just as I was about to sit on the small balcony outside the window I hadn't visited for years, I saw another window. It looked just like the window I was sitting at, but lit up.

I saw shadows dancing on the building beside it. I was curious and drawn to it. I wanted to see what I haven't seen for a while, happiness.

I peeked in the window and saw another nursery. It had 3 beds and a small crib with a bookshelf and plenty of toys for children.

A little boy was sitting on the bed watching a girl about 12 or 13 dueling with a young boy. A little girl was toddling around on her small legs beside a dog before plopping down on the floor beside the dog.

I dared to move closer to get a better look and stayed in the shadows the best I could. The swords clashed together numerous times before the girl's was knocked out of her hand. She ducked as the boy took a swing at her and retrieved her sword.

The swordsmanship from both of them was impressive, like they had been dueling for ages. I wanted so badly to join them and show them a few moves myself but I refrained from it and shook the thoughts from my mind.

I took a baby step forward and a small ray of light was shining on me. At that moment, the booy took a stab at the girl and she ducked. He ended up knocking over a few things and woke the dog.

The dog looked right at me and started barking. I panicked and flew away as fast as I could. I had been in this situation before and I didn't want it to happen again.

I didn't want the story to restart and feel the same pain and sadness that I felt when she left to grow up.

I didn't want to fall in love agian.
