CHAPTER II

After school, Lisa found herself in the company of her three closes friends: Seulgi, Joy and Bam Bam. They just entered the mall and are on their way towards a video game store. They want to check out some new games that they could play later at Lisa's apartment where they usually hangout.

They made a quick stop in front of a sports equipment shop, Bam Bam has to look something inside while Seulgi followed him, leaving Lisa and Joy outside.

"So" Joy started. Lisa turned to her waiting for her to continue.

"Jungkook, he... you know Jungkook?" Lisa nod, remembering meeting him a year ago when she attended Joy's birthday.

"your cousin, right? The one who started the cake throwing fight at your birthday?"

Joy let out a laugh, remembering that disastrous, but fun, turn of events during her birthday "yeah, that dork one. So, he texted me last night and asked for your number" then Joy gave her a suggestive look. "what do you think?"

Lisa's brows furrowed in confusion. "why? Does he need something?"

Her friend smiled, not surprised with the girl's naivety when it comes to this kind of stuff "well, technically, yes, he needs something from you. He wants to get to know you" she pointed out.

If possible, Lisa gets more confuse than ever. "why?"

Joy can't help but to chuckle as she put a hand on Lisa's shoulder. "Lisa..." but then they noticed Bam and Suelgi's about to exit the shop so Joy whispered her next words instead. "my cousin likes you"

They are now inside the video games store and the group scattered instantly from each other upon entering since they have different kinds of game in mind. Lisa found herself in the back part of the shop, pulling out the latest version of a game she used to play before and tried to read the updates of it on the back. However, she can't help herself but to wander back to her conversation with Joy earlier. She wasn't able to respond after her friend whispered that to her because they really don't want to talk about that in the company of Seulgi and Bam, so Joy just gave her a wink and lead the way towards their current destination.

Lisa's about to turn sixteen next month, and though this is not the first time someone expressed an attraction towards her, she's never been with anyone before. Indeed, her age can be considered 'still young' to be in a relationship but nowadays, it's pretty common to be in one. In fact, Bam's had his first girlfriend when they were just thirteen while Joy just broke up with her second boyfriend last week. In conclusion, it's perfectly normal if Lisa will start to entertain possible suitors and to start with Jungkook is not a bad idea. But... there's something... something in her that...

A peal of laughter pulled Lisa's attention away from her musing, adjusting her eyeglasses she spied the pair of girls standing just few steps away from her. They are checking a game as well and giggling about something on it but Lisa can't help but to zeroed in on their joined hands. It's a pretty common gesture especially among girl-friends but there's something about it that makes Lisa's heart flutter. However, without a warning, the two girls shared a brief kiss on the lips. It looks so natural and so casual but to the tall girl, who was rendered frozen to the spot, it seems like something suddenly gripped her heart and cut the airway in her lungs. The two girls were still giggling as they made their way towards the cashier, completely unaware of the effect they left to the still frozen girl.

"Did you enjoy it?"

It felt like a splashed of water was thrown at her, as Lisa whipped her head towards the voice, her face instantly flushed in red as she realized it's Joy who is standing there, one hand on hip, smirking knowingly at her.
