The weather was almost perfect, the blue sky overhead had just enough clouds to lessen the intensity of the sun’s heat while the wind blows with such gentle caress.

And in the backyard, underneath the canopy of leaves, rustling from an old tree, two little girls were playing a princess tea party. They were sitting across from each other in a kids' table & chair set, both wearing princess costumes with little crowns on top of their heads.

Sitting on one side was little Lisa, she's cradling her baby doll in her arms, swaying it softly while humming some nursery rhymes. She’s also giving it a drink from the small teacup pretending that it’s a formula as she forgot her dolly's feeding bottle in her room so she settle for the teacup instead. Once she thinks, or assume, that the baby doll had enough milk, she put back the teacup on the table and then proceeded to drop a sweet kiss on her baby doll’s lips. Across from her, little Jennie scoffed.

Little Lisa looked up, seeing her unnie taking a sip from her own tea cup, doing it so convincingly as if there’s an actual tea in it, or any other consumable liquid for that matter. She plays the part of a princess so perfectly as well, sitting in a very good body posture and moving in such elegance and finesse.

Such a great pretender, her sister is.

Little Jennie softly put down her tea cup then took the napkin to dab the side of her mouth, like there’s something on there.

“what’s her name, Princess Lisa?” she asked formally, playing her character so seriously. She’s referring to the doll in Lisa’s arms.

The younger girl glanced down to her doll with adoration before answering in a small voice. “Baby Doll”

Little Jennie grimaced at that but recovered quickly, “Princess Lisa, I think now is the time that you name her.” She took a pretend bite of the fake cookie from her plate then dabbed the corner of her lips again. “Remember, you should give names to the things you own so other people know better than to steal them” she stated, matter-of-factly

But the younger girl just shrugged, continuing on adoring her baby doll, she doesn’t really care on whatever it is her unnie's trying to say.

Little Jennie sighed as she regard her sister, after awhile, her face slowly brightens up as an idea popped up in her mind, “you know what? I can name her instead. Actually, I have a perfect name already in mind and you will love it for sure.” she can’t hide the excitement in her tone.

An adorable pout formed on the younger girl’s mouth as she thinks about it through her pretty young mind. She never really name the things she owns before. Her bed is just ‘bed’, her shoes are just ‘shoes’… why can’t her baby doll be just ‘baby doll'? She then considers the expression on her unnie’s face where excitement is clearly evident. She hates it when her sister’s not happy, so with a deep sigh, Little Lisa nodded her head in agreement.

That made her unnie to perked up even more, showing her gummy smile and all, “Great!” she exclaimed, “So, from now on, we will call her … LILI … isn’t it a pretty name? So beautiful! What do you think, Princess Lisa?”

The said girl looked down at her baby doll as if to ask it for its own opinion about the given name “Lili?”

“Yes. Here, give her to me. I want to hold her as well, I own her now too since I’m the one who named her”

Hearing that, little Lisa’s eyes instantly brimmed with tears while trying, unsuccessfully, to hide her doll in her tiny arms “but she's my baby” she whispered, voice already quivering.
