Via your gonna be late I hear my brother Vincent yell from upstairs as I roll over in my bed.

This was my first day at west valley high. I was shitting my pants to be honest. I didn't do the best with new people or school. I really didn't know any one except sam larusso. Our dads were really good friends and we were pretty close as kids. I hadn't talked to her in years and I don't even know if she knew I was going to west valley.

Where are mom and dad? I ask as I head upstairs seeing my brother laying on our couch

They had to leave early... another trip he says and I could tell he felt a little bad. Our parents were always on these business trips together. Our family ran Thompson international airlines. I couldn't complain though. They have given my brother and I so much and we were very very...well off.

I got some stares but I was good at pretending I didn't care. Mom said I was supposed to meet the principal at the office when I got there. I switched from looking around and looking at my phone so I didn't look as lost and confused as I was.

I look up once more and thank god see sam

Sam! Can you help me find the office? I ask and I could tell she was surprised to see me

Yeah the office is up the steps to the right she points and I nod as I follow her directions.

I could tell sam was one of the popular girls cause after talking to them infront of everyone people immediately treated me different.

And we hope you have a good first day the principal says as I walk into the office. He was talking to some other boy who I guess was new as well

Ahh olivia thompson it's so nice to meet you! He says shaking my hand and I send him a smile

Okay olivia here is your schedule. I was just explaining to miguel about our extra curricular's. We have basically every sport imaginable and a lot of fun clubs. Tryouts for fall sports are this week. Is there anything like that that interests either of you? He asks as he looks between the two of us

Umm no I'm not really a sports guy, I've been getting into karate though miguel says his eyes becoming brighter at the simple thought of karate

Well good for you Karate used to be a big deal in the valley. We do encourage our students to be as involved as they can though. What about you miss thompson? He asks focusing his attention back on me
