In this chapter there is more of the regulat story line of the show and more of the cast gets brought out! It gets interesting in the end it isn't all boring like the first chapter!!

It was the next day flew by pretty fast. Nothing interesting happened except the boys told me about a halloween dance the school was throwing tomorrow. I decided I would go but it was last minute so I had to just find a basic costume.

It was the end of the day now and I was getting ready for volleyball tryouts. I walked out of the lockerooms and saw demetri eli and miguel sitting on the bleachers making me smile and jog up to them

What are you guys doing I say smiling at the three of them

Were here to support you miguel says and eli nods but demetri doesn't look as happy to be there

Something wrong I ask pulling his attention to me

No just I'd rather not spend my time in a gymnasium he says

Then why are you here I ask

Eli made me. Said it was important to you and friends support each other blah blah demetri says making me laugh earning a smile from eli and demetri even cracks one too

ALRIGHT GIRLS the coach screams and I quickly hurry over to the group forming around them

I'm coach wilson I'm the varsity and jv coach and this is coach rios the freshman coach. Today we are just going to do some simple drills to see where your all at. Now volleyball is a cut sport at west valley. So before you begin you need to know that you might not even make a team coach wilson says making the nerves I had 10 times worse

Alright first drill he yells blowing his whistle

It was like five drills later and the final thing we had to practice was serving which I was pretty good at. My jump serve was almost perfect and to be honest I was kind of excited to show the boys I'm actually kind of talented which I'm sure they doubted until today

I grabbed a ball standing at the far right of the court the spot closest to the bleachers and threw the ball up and did the three steps and jumped up swinging through hard and the ball darted over to the other side with ease

MISS THOMPSON VERY NICE coach yells making my confidence just sky rocket. I look at the boys and their pretty impressed too which was good.

Alright girls we have our teams wilson yells and we all take a seat on the court while him and coach rios stand in the middle of the court by the net as we wait for our name and our team.

I was starting to lose hope when I wasnt hearing my name but finally he called it

Uhh oh Olivia Thompson! Welcome to varsity he says smiling and a huge smile spreads across my face

Thank you so much I say standing up shaking his hand

Your very welcome you are a very skilled player and I look forward to working with you. The game and practice schedule will be sent out tomorrow morning along with a form for your shoe size and shirt size he tells us all who had made a team

Dismissed he says and everyone gets up grabbing their stuff and leaving. I walk over to the boys with a huge smile on my face

Varsity are you kidding good job! Miguel says

Yeah that serve was impressive eli says shyly

Yeah who knew you had an arm on you. I know you said no to karate but if you ever change your mind just know that arm strength will take you far miguel says still impressed
