For charity
IT WAS EARLY AFTERNOON WHEN DINAH made her way to the bar to open it up. Her mind had been a million places at once lately, so it was quite nice to just wiggle back into her old routine. Wake up early, run errands, open the bar, and meet all the people that the quarter had to offer.
However, Marcel had different plans for her.
"Nice day, huh, Di?" The man said as he walked up behind the woman, making her jump.
She had been getting scared quite often lately.
"Marcel!" Dinah laughed as she turned on her heel to face him. "Never do that again, you almost gave me a heart attack."
"Sorry." The Gerard man wore his signature grin on his face. "I thought you seen me coming."
"Nope." The Levy woman cleared her throat as she brushed a strand of hair away from her face, straightening herself out. "What's up?"
"I have to talk business with you, can we discuss this inside?" The man confidently pointed his head towards the door that had her key in it, gesturing for her to unlock it fully.
"Of course." Dinah nodded lightly as she twisted the key, the door opening up after she twisted the handle.
Both adults walked inside, the Levy woman setting her purse down on the bar counter.
"Remember that guy you met the other day? Elijah Mikaelson?" Marcel asked, getting straight to the point, he couldn't and didn't want to waste any time.
"Yeah, but how do you know I met Elijah?" If Dinah was honest, she hadn't stopped thinking of the man, but she was also mad he hadn't showed up back at the bar anymore, and told herself she was better off.
"Doesn't matter." The Gerard man stepped forward, grabbing his friend by the wrist as he looked into her eyes. "There is a charity event at my place, and you are coming. His siblings will be there so your job will be to distract them for whatever i'm doing, are we clear?"
"Yes Marcel, I will go to your charity event and distract Elijah's siblings." The Levy woman replied as if she was in a trance.
"I already bought your clothes and had them delivered to your house." Marcel let go of the woman's arm, making sure he hadn't marked or bruised her in any way. "Don't be late, and I want you to act like this is going to be the party of your life."
"I'm never late to anything." Dinah answered, a smile on her face like she had just received the greatest news on earth.
"That's exactly what i'm counting on." The Gerard man replied.
His smile devious.
DINAH LEVY WAS ALWAYS UP FOR A PARTY, especially charity events like the ones that Marcel threw frequently. The thing about tonight however was that she was overly excited, she found it weird but obviously couldn't help it. Maybe it was the fact that there was a possibility Elijah would be there? Or maybe it was her needing to destress, either way, she was ecstatic.
