Greetings
FIERCELY SCRUBBING THE COUNTER OF HER BAR was nothing new to Dinah. It was a necessity to her (and the health department) that she kept things neat and in tact, and she always did what her mind told her to. The woman felt like she'd go mad if she didn't keep things in order, keep some form of control in her life.
Cause lord knows it's hard to keep control.
"You missed a spot." A familiar voice commented, immediately catching her attention.
She didn't look up though, not knowing weather to be happy, mad, or indifferent. It had been over a week since their first meeting, and while she understood trying to play hard to get, she couldn't understand him. No matter how much she though of him, the woman wasn't able to pull the pieces together.
"I'm not finished yet." Dinah replied, setting the wet rag in her hand down. "The bar is closed, by the way, it's almost five in the morning."
"Which begs the question." Elijah said with a grin. "What are you still doing here?"
"My job." The Levy woman said, looking up towards his dark eyes. "Can I help you with something?"
"I've come to apologize for my... absence. I had to leave for a few days for some business, I hope a work oriented woman like you understands." The Mikaelson man leaned over the counter, taking the woman's hand before she placed a kiss on it. "It's lovely to see you."
"I guess it's good to see you too." Dinah narrowed her eyes as she slowly pulled her hand away. "I met your brother and sister."
"Ah, I hope they made a good impression." Elijah took it upon himself to sit on one of the stools at the bar. "They can be quite nasty when they want."
"I was warned to stay away from you." The Levy woman said to him as she poured herself a drink. "I like your sister, but I don't like being told what to do."
"Perhaps she was correct in telling you that." The Mikaelson man concurred, letting his hands rest gently on the counter top.
"So if she was right." Dinah leaned down, to be perfectly eye level with the man in front of her. "Then why are you here?"
"I said perhaps, I did not fully agree with her." The brunette man chuckled lightly, shaking his head. "However, i'm afraid I have to warn you, i'm not that great when it comes to women."
"Is that right?" The Levy woman laughed, leaning on top of the counter for support. "Well, I guess you'll just have to work on that before you get to spend anymore time with me."
Dinah grinned as she pointed to the door, signaling for the man to make his exit.
"Have a nice day, Mr. Mikaelson." She spoke simply, her hands placed perfectly as if they were ushering her out of the door.
