seohyun walked through the crowded halls of her university. everyone's eyes bored into her, whispering about the 'fearless girl who's friends with a vampire'. that's what she was known for in school.
"kim seohyun." turning around at the voice that called her, she saw mikyung standing there in the middle of the hallway. with a snap of mikyung's fingers, everyone froze.
"why the fuck are you always pestering me? i thought you weren't bad until that stupid dream from last night." seohyun yelled. she was already fed up with the whole 'fate' thing that was going on.
"oh sweetie it's just my job. i decide a person's fate and make sure they follow it."
"tch what are you? lachesis?" seohyun bitterly asked.
"so you keep up with greek mythology? i guess i'm in a way similar to lachesis."
a loud scoff came from seohyun. she took a few steps closer to where mikyung stood.
"i get it. my fate is unavoidable. i've gotten the point so why don't you just go already?"
mikyung let out a loud cackle at what seohyun said. mikyung began to walk closer to seohyun while pointing her fan her seohyun. mikyung stood right in front of seohyun and put her fan right up against seohyun's neck.
"don't be an idiot seohyun. i could kill you right now if i wanted to."
"is that my fate? for you to kill me?" mikyung's eyes darkened at her remark.
"do you want to know more? i have answers for you." seohyun gripped her hands on mikyung's shoulders and pushed the lady off her.
"no thanks."
seohyun stood tall and stared at mikyung who tightened her grip on her fan.
"wait till the clock strikes three; then we'll play."
clicking her fingers, everyone in the hallway unfroze while mikyung disappeared into thin air. ——— seohyun was currently sitting in her science class when she noticed a thin piece of black thread on her ankle. she looked around the class to see if anything or anyone put it on her but everyone was busy taking down notes.
after the bell had rung, seohyun went outside the class to see an unfamiliar boy standing there.
"i'm chanhee, eric's friend. come with me, eric is waiting." without giving seohyun the chance to refuse, chanhee already grabbed her wrist and dragged her away to the gate of the school; teleporting once they reached outside.
"shithyun took you long enough." eric sarcastically commented while rolling his eyes. seohyun walked over to the free seat next to eric and eyes all the people in the room; only recognising sunwoo.
