Legolas and I rode into Rivendell with the councilmen behind us. I was quite afraid of what was to come, I hoped it would not be too serious. Although, Gandalf and Elrond would not call a council if it wasn't. Some servants took our horses to the stables and we were escorted into our rooms. I simply dropped my bags onto the floor and explored my room.

I got a nice room, it was white with a gold accent wall. There was a balcony overlooking the valley and the mountains. I walked out and smiled to myself, watching the sun set to the West. The sky was flooded with hues of orange and pink, it was truly beautiful to see. There was a light knock on my door, breaking my nature induced trance, and I sighed. I walked across the room and opened the door. It was a hobbit. He had dirty blonde hair and a sturdy build. The hobbit had a nervous and now, slightly flustered look on his face.

"Hello." I smiled. "How can I be of assistance to you?" The hobbit looked up to me, his breath hitching. He gulped and took a deep breath.

"My name is Samwise Gamgee. I am a friend of Frodo Baggins. Are you Princess Thurinel of Mirkwood?" The hobbit asked politely. His cheeks were slightly pink as he stared at me in awe.

"Yes I am." I said warmly. "Nice to meet you Samwise." I held my hand out for a shake and he had a firm hold. I gave a smile which my new friend returned, but he quickly coughed and went serious again.

"Please call me Sam. Frodo is asking for you." He said grimly.

"Oh." I said frowning. "What happened?"

"In our travels, Frodo was stabbed by a poisoned blade." Frodo?! Stabbed by a poison blade? I knew I should have stayed to protect him. How foolish of me. I opened my mouth to exclaim something, but Sam cut me off. "He's alright now. He just wants to talk to someone from the council that he can trust." Sam explained. I nodded slowly, taking in the information.

"Alright, Sam. Take me to him." Sam smiled and led me to a nearby room. Frodo stood on the balcony of his room, staring out towards the mountains. Frodo turned at the sound of the door opening, Sam and I entering, he was a little pale, but smiled when he saw me. I frowned at the sight of the young hobbit, but still returned his smile. I walked up to the young hobbit and looked down. "Are you alright?" I asked worriedly.

Frodo slowly nodded and glanced back to Sam. "Sam..." He said quietly. "Is it alright if we talk in private?" Sam looked hurt but nodded. The blonde hobbit looked to me and smiled.

"I'm sorry if we hurt your feelings." I frowned to the blonde hobbit. Sam looked up at me and his face brightened noticeably.

"Frodo was right." He said. "You really are beautiful and kind hearted." I smiled sheepishly at the compliment, I wasn't used to this constant praise from everyone I met, Sam left the room, closing the door behind him. I looked back to Frodo, who was sat on the side of his bed, patting beside him, a nonverbal command telling me to sit down. I happily obliged and relished in the softness of the bed.

"Please tell me everything that happened, Frodo." I pleaded. The hobbit nodded and recited what happened to him over the past few weeks. He went to Bree, where he coincidentally met Aragorn, whom is known as Strider to them, and was hunted by the Nazgûl. Then he spoke of the travels to Rivendell and the old abandon fortress. Then he got stabbed and that was the last he remembered before awaking in Rivendell. I nodded and furrowed my eyebrows in concern.
