Chapter 9

(Tw: blood, kidnapping)

Current day (Todoroki pov)

I ran through the halls of the dorms with a look of worry on my face, i was also pissed. Pissed at the hero's who said he was dead, pissed at toga who hurt him, and pissed at myself for not believing in him. He's been with them for 8 damn months, hurting and probably being tortured there. After he was "killed" all of 1a and 1b's moral went down. Everyone was so sad and terrified to find out that the person who always lit everyone up was killed so brutally.. 

Once i reached where i was going i hesitated, reading the name of the plate on the door. "Fine.." I mumbled under my breathe before reaching my hand up to knock on the door a few times. I heard a small groan from inside and watched as a poofy fluff of blonde hair peaked through as well as a scowl from the owner of the hair. "What do you want damn icy hot.." he  mumbled. "Sero is alive." His eyes widened upon hearing me and he quickly ran inside to change his clothes before coming back out, throwing his jacket loosely over his shoulders. "You tell Racoon Eyes  and pikachu, I'll tell the other two." I nodded and we went our separate ways.

As I ran in the hallways I was stopped by someone which obviously aggravated me. I looked over to see who it was and saw Shinso. "Where are you going in such a hurry snowflake?" He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. "No time to talk..!" I quickly said but he just gripped me tighter. "I'm late for my manga session with Kaminari." I said quickly. He rolled his eyes and let go of my arm. I then ran to Kaminari's room and knocked on it a few times. I heard some shuffling in the room and saw the yellow head open the door with a charger in his mouth and a pikachu onesie on. "Hm?" He hummed, looking up at me. "Hanta is alive." Kaminari's eyes widened and he dropped his phone when hearing the noise. "Wait shit what?!" He yelled confused. "Hurry up and get ready, me and the rest of you are going to find him." I explained. He nodded and walked back in to his room to get dressed leavening me to find Mina.

I finally reached the dorm and hesitated on this. Mina was always such a jerk to Hanta and I kind of resented her. I wasn't able to make a decision when she walked out of the room, phone in hand and a green face mask on. "Ashido." I said plainly. "Todoroki-?" She said slightly confused. "Not that you would care but, Hanta is still alive." I said to her. She nodded as response. "Yeah I know." My eyes widened when hearing this and she sipped her tea. "I mean I kinda have known for like- ages-" she said laughing slightly. "How.." "His kidnapper is my girlfriend, how could I not know?" My eyes widened and my fist clenched before I punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground. "OI WHAT THE HELL?! YOU COULVE BROKEN SOMETHING!" She yelled. "Your dating a villain?! You know what? No. I'm not even going to comment on this shit." I said as I walked away from her and unclenched my fists.

I arrived at the agreed spot to meet at about 15 minutes later with my hero costume on. "Woah bro you look pissed-" Kaminari pointed out. "Mina's dating the kidnapper." I said plainly. "WHAT?!" They said in unison. Kirishima was crying slightly and Tetsutetsu his boyfriend just comforted him, gently rubbing his back. Kaminari's mouth was agape and bakugo just stood there, mouth parted slightly. "Sorry.." I mumbled, feeling bad about bringing the mood down more then it already was. "It's fine." Bakugo answered. "We should get moving." We all nodded in agreement and began walking towards the location of the villains first base.

Third person

The 5 of them walked through the streets of the city and thought about various different thing but Hanta was consuming the majority. They were going to see their best friend again after 8 months and they were scared but more then that, worried. They frowned when seeing the police tape that surrounded the ruins of the place where all might almost died, the place where bakugo was kidnapped, the place that just hurt to think about. They stepped over the tape and followed shoto to the bar. There were broken pieces of that place scattered everywhere and and water dripped from the loose piping that hung above them. Kiri flinched when a water droplet fell on his eye making Tetsu laugh slightly and gently while it off. Shoto turned his attention to them for a moment and smiled as he looked at the two love birds, longing for that to be Sero and him one day. Right, Sero. He turned back to the what was in front of him and decided they should look around. "Split up. We'll look around for something." "What for?" Kaminari asked. "Something." He replied. Kaminari nodded, still confused. They split up from each other and looked around the place, shoto looking behind what was left of the bar. He blew off some of the dust that gathered on a book he found, reading the cover off to himself. "Her handsome hero?" He muttered, opening it to see a note on the side written in sero's hand writing. His eyes danced across the page as he read the note. He quickly stood up, knowing where they are. "I found him."

~Meanwhile~

"Babe I know that you like him but still! Tomura would get all pissy if I let him go. Plus we're almost done anyways."

'At least make an exception this once please..!'

CRASH!! "Shit!"

'What was that?! Are you ok?!'

"I'm fine demon, don't worry! But it's been finished so I don't think I can really uh- help-"

'You mean..?'

"Yup."

'Shit.'

-Back with the bros- (shoto pov)

We finally reached a clearing that was scattered with blood from wall to wall making us shiver at the sight. "Oh my god.." I muttered. I looked around in awe at the scene in front of us, my eyes widening slightly. In the middle of the clearing was a mound of dead body's that were piled up and standing on top of it was the person I'd grown to love. "Hanta.."
