Chapter 13/ finale

Each beep of the heart monitor made me sick but relieved. I knew he was alive but I also knew he was close to death. "Who gave you the right to hurt him.." I said under my breathe towards Midoriya. "He was going to kill you Todoroki-San.. I had to.." "Did you, deku? Did you really have to?!" Bakugo shot back. Midoriya came after wondering where we were and ended up trying to kill Sero. Someone like him trying to kill his friend was a surprise to say the least. If it was between me and Sero I would have chose him. I know that when he wakes up he might still be murderous but I can only hope that he'll be fine.

3 hours later

My head rested on the bed as I wait. Everyone else besides Bakugo and kaminari left an hour or so ago and so we were just waiting for him to wake up. I felt the sheets underneath me move and I immediately looked up, sming when seeing hanta's eyes flutter open. "Hanta!" I yelled, hugging him tightly. "Woah! Geez!" He said, looking down at me before his eyes widened. "S-shoto?" He asked slowly. I looked up at him amazed, my tear stained cheeks glistening in the lights. "You remember me?" I asked. "Of course I do! It's so good to see you! How long have I been out..?" "A few days.. I'm just happy your alright.." I muttered. "I mean I'm more then alright now that im able to see you again.." we heard a cough and looked over to see Bakugo and kaminari staring at us. "Alright love birds, move aside so I can hug my bestie!" Kami yelled, almost immediately jumping onto Sero once I moved from him. "Good to have you back soy sauce." Bakugo said ruffling his hair resulting in a small laugh. "Yeah good to see you to again after so long.." Sero stated. "Where's Mina and Kiri?" He asked. Bakugo and kaminari looked at each other concerned before turning back. "Kiri got seriously injured and Mina was one of the people who helped to set you up.." Bakugo explained. His eyes widened and a few tears leaked out. "Mina's.. a traitor?" He asked slowly. I nodded and gently took hold of his hand to which he took greatfully. I looked to the two and they seemed to understand s they stood up and left the room leavening me with Sero. "I knew she had a suspicious girlfriend and I knew she never truly liked me but for her to do something like that it's just.. hard to take in.." "I know.." I responded, resting my head on his shoulder. "Hey I know this might be a bad time but, I'm in love with you.." I said softly. He looked at me in a flustered shock before speaking up. "Come again?" "I love you, Sero.." He smiled brightly and pulled me into a soft kiss that surprised me but I accepted. It felt like it lasted for minutes but it ended as soon as it happened. "Hm. I suppose that's a 'i lie you to' in Sero." He laughed at the joke and nodded. "Yeah I guess so.. you can call me Hanta you know." I nodded. "And you Shoto." I responded. Hanta pulled me up to lay in his arms as we rested in a comfortable silence. "Your chest is comfy.." I mumbled. "T-thanks?" He asked confused to which I laughed lightly. "This is nice." He commented.
