LOUD KNOCKS ROSE Hideko from her slumber, her sleepy eyes adjusting to the sunlit mess of your bedroom. The rest of you were sprawled across the floor, snoring loudly and laying your heads on the piles of clothes and pizza boxes. The loud knocks sound out again, shaking her out of her sleepy daze. Immediately, she reaches over and begins to shake the three of you awake, calling your names in addition. You groan drowsily, hands moving toward your faces and rubbing the sleep out of your half-lidded eyes. "There's someone at the door.."

"Huh?" Hideko nods at your confusion, sitting up on her butt and looking down at you all. Slowly, one by one, you each rise off the floor, groaning and stretching your limbs, all of you still dazed from only getting a few hours at best of sleep. "(y/n), you get the door."

"Why me?!" you argue, your face scrunching at your friends. In agreement, Naoko nods, "Because you're the only one of us who knows how to fight! Plus, you live here!" you roll your eyes, pushing Naoko to the floor. "You live here too, dummy." you sigh, rolling your eyes.

You remove yourself from the conversation, yawning and exiting the bedroom, walking to the front door. You didn't know what time it was, but by the sunlight that hardly peeked through the windows, it was early. Entirely too early for someone to be at the door. You peek through the peephole, your mouth dropping and a small gasp falling through at the sight on the other side of the door. You immediately unlock it and pulled it open, seemingly at a loss for words. "E-Eguchi..! Good morning,"

"Good morning, miss Kandi. I hope I didn't wake you," it's obvious he's referring to your disheveled state, though his words still hold that sincerity that has you smiling shyly, hands patting at your hair and soothing your pajamas. "No, no, I've been up just... resting?" your words are unsure, and they amuse the man. He lets out a small laugh in response to you, his palm pressed against his tie. He nods in understanding, an "ah" leaving his lips as his laughter dies down. "Well, I apologize for interrupting your rest, I should've called ahead. Oikawa has sent me up to retrieve you for your early morning flight to the U.S."
