Chapter 9

Unknown:
As they walked back from school, I wondered if this could be my chance. If I act now she would be very confused but she has the information. Tailing them, I tried to decide whether now was the right time to make my move. Thinking I could give it a shot, I shouted to the man in the back that it was time. They were only kids so I decided to only send one person. If this worked then all this waiting would be over and I could finally take what should me mine - the world.

Lucas:
While we were walking back home, I had this horrible sensation that we were being watched. Trying to ignore it, I continued to laugh and talk with Rosa, but I couldn't help but feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
"Lucas, are you ok?" Rosa asked, as I had been deep in thought for a while.
"Yeah sorry, just got a strange feeling that someone was watching us," I explained, while she started to search for anyone that may be following us.
"There's no one here, don't worry, it's just us," she whispered, in a soothing voice. I looked into her eyes, her cherry red lips curving into a small smile, and her warm skin so soft to touch as I held her hands. Closing my eyes I went to kiss her soft lips, but I felt something on the back of my head. A random stranger dragged me back by my hair, making me hit the ground, probably bruising my side. I looked up, my face covered in dirt, to see the man dragging Rosa away, his hand cupped over her mouth. Getting up, I ran over to the man punched him in face but somehow hurt my own hand instead. Quickly, I stomped on his foot and whacked his nose making him yelp in pain. After a few seconds, he threw Rosa on the floor allowing me to run to her.
"Do you trust me?" I asked her, as she looked up at me like I was stupid.
"Yes, you just saved me, why wouldn't I?" She said, as she looked at her hands which were now bleeding. I wrapped my arms around her and focused, better than I had before. Looking at Rosa, I realised we were both starting to fade away. Just then, the man came running after us both, but he just went straight through us, as we were gone.

Rosa:
I started to feel dizzy and I had no idea what was happening. One minute I was outside with a random stranger trying to kidnap me and the next I was lying in Lucas' bed. Then, I felt a sharp pain growing in my hands, but looking down at them, I saw that they were badly bleeding. I looked around for Lucas but couldn't see him anywhere until he came running inside, making me jump. He wrapped a soft, wet towel around my hands and grabbed some bandages.
"What was that?" I demanded, as he bandaged my hands.
"Okay, you can't tell anyone that I told you this," He started, looking back up at me when he had finished. "All of us here have super powers, and mine is teleportation." At this I started laughing thinking that it was just a joke, but I stopped when he looked at me seriously.
"Oh my God," I said, shock clear in my voice, "so you all have superpowers and no one thought to tell me."
"I guess they wanted to protect you, because if you know, then you could end being in great danger."
"So we have to tell the others what happened then," I exclaimed, confused why we wouldn't.
"No, they'll all freak out, plus I think they were just a random person trying to kidnap you," he said, as if were no big deal, but I decided to go along with it anyway.
