Far away from the crowded city there stood two men watching the night sky. Looking at their faces one cannot judge the inner turmoil causing havoc in their minds. No they weren't having a breakdown, they were lost in the memories of the experiences they shared. Have you ever been on a rollercoaster? That's what they were feeling, the highs of the success they achieved along with the lows that followed. one was drowning in the feeling of guilt for he blamed himself for not being able to lead his team to victory, breaking millions of hearts who were cheering for their victory. For a country like India, cricket is not a sport but a religion and a cricketer is not just a player but a god. He can still hear the voices of cheer, support and disappointment after that first world cup semi final match. He remembers him hugging his Mahi Bhai hiding in his arms seeking solace and he clearly remembers his Bhais words of wisdom that gave him the strength to pick himself up. Hugging him close he said "you know Cheeku in life winning and losing come hand in hand and it is upto you how you look at it like a loss or an experience to learn from, a second chance to to get things right" he pulled him up and said "Don't let their words get to you, cheeku no one could have done a better job than you. Always remember there are a million mouths and you have two hands you can't shut all of them but you can shut your ears. There will be many chances coming your way and that will be your chance to prove them wrong' that will shut their mouth". He understood his Mahi Bhais words. The people who are criticizing him today are the same who were praising him yesterday.

Therefore he drew himself to the conclusion that he will not let these people put him or any of his teammates down. For he shall lead his team to the promised land victorious if not today than tomorrow but he will, he promised himself looking at the stars and turned towards his brother who was lost in thoughts.Sighing he thought of trying to distract his mini me, his not so little Rahuliya whose happens to be like him minus the calm expression. But right now his Rahuliya was lost digging himself in a self made tunnel of remorse filled with many "only ifs"only if he played well, only if he had scored more than 1 run. Afterall, it was a very important match for them. Both brothers tried to console themselves if not today there will be a tomorrow where they will walk out victorious and when that will happen they will do it together along with their brothers for their country.

Rahul couldn't help but think how lucky he is for the man standing by him. the man who trusted him when he himself had given up. He still remembers when he had built a wall around himself where he was fighting a war, a war which he had declared on himself. That time this man stood there like his light in a dark tunnel, a hand trying to pull him up trying to protect him from the negativity coated shackles he tied himself with. It was that day he realised one thing he can't hide himself from the people he loves, cares and cherishes. especially from this man standing next to him just like that day he dragged him out from his self made sorrow pit today like he did months back. even though he was suffering from the same pain even worse one may say. But here he is, Rahul couldn't help but think about their relationship, about how far they have come today from being a loyal fan to his idol, to now sharing a pure bond of brotherhood. One doesn't need to address one as bhaiya to show the love and respect they have for the other. Plus he secretly enjoys teasing his older brother when he addresses everyone else but him as bhaiya. But it's not like he doesn't , he does but he doesn't feel the need to show it. consider it as a special privilege, a niche that occurs on very reserved and special occasions.

How can one describe the bond they share he thought? Let's see If he is Bucky Barnes then he is his Steve Rogers, if he is Arjun then he is his Krishna, If he is Lazarus then he is Jesus. He knew this man would stand by him, protect him, guide him in every path of life. Why only him? the whole ICT they were there for each other like a family stood side by side through the thicks and thins of life.

He was wildly shaken from his land of thoughts by this creature who he was mentally praising saying something to him pointing towards the sky. He turned towards him with a face filled with confusion. "Oye Rahuliaya, don't you know it's rude to ignore the person talking to you and may I add he is right next to you" spoke Virat with an exasperated expression on his face. Rahul couldn't help but shake his head at this over-dramatic creature and ask " what is it Vi and how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that''. Rolling his eyes at his little brother he pointed to the sky again and with a serious expression exactly understanding his younger brother's inner battle he said "you see the sky Rahuliya it's full of stars but one day these stars will fall. But not for long they will bounce back and go to the place they belong. the universe is wide and is full of opportunities it's up to us to take it or leave it" saying this he wrapped his hands around his Rahuliya and continued " we are just like these stars one day we will all fall from the sky but it's up to us to decide how fast we want to bounce back and go back where we belong or want to be stuck mourning over already spilt milk". Rahul looked at his brother with an expression which clearly showcased his emotions forgetting his previous thoughts said "you always have a way with words don't you" laughing both brothers stared at the sky ready to bounce back where they belong. Where one will rule like the king he is and the other will stand beside him tall ready to take on the world for that's what brothers do.
