CHAPTER 22

~HERO~

Tindra is one week today, and today she and Weston will be discharged. I can't wait to have my girls home with me. Duke and Ace have been whimpering since we rushed Weston to the hospital. They don't like when she's not around and I'm sure they're worried about the baby. They sense things like that. I've seen the difference from before Weston was pregnant and from the time that she was. They were always by her side when she was pregnant. Never left her side when they were outside.

We pull up in front of the cabin and I help Weston out of the car. Her scar is almost healed but she has internal pain. It takes a while before she heals from the inside out. "Oh, it's good to be home." She says. Duke and Ace barks and runs towards Weston. She squats and greets them with open arms. "Hey, babies! I missed you so much, yes I did." They run around her and take turns to lick her face and jump up onto her legs.

When they're calm again we go inside and take a seat on the couch. I give Weston, Tindra, and a bottle of formula. She feeds her and soon both of them are soundly asleep on the couch. I take a seat on the other end and just look at them. they're so beautiful and Weston is a natural mother. She's so good with Tindra. It warms my heart to see my fierce and feisty wife be this calm and at peace. This is a big change for her, to commit to a baby. To take responsibility for another human. She never has before. Not even for herself.

~WESTON~

I wake up on the couch with Tindra on my chest. She's still asleep. I look at Hero. He smiles when he sees I'm awake. He gets up and takes Tindra and puts her in her baby nest. Duke and Ace smell her and they both lay beside the baby nest. Watching their baby.

-THREE MONTHS LATER-

"I'm so tired, Hero. She won't take the bottle when I try to give it to her. She refuses to sleep!" I complain to him. "Calm down, babe. Let me try." I hand him the bottle and get out of his face. I'm having a hard time right now. I love Tindra to death but it's been a rough couple of months. She doesn't want to sleep and it seems that I can't calm her. Only Hero and I'm so tired.

"What's the fuzz about, Angel?" He coos at her. Of course, she smiles when she sees Hero. I stomp out of the house. I need to cool down. Maybe I'm not cut out to be a mother after all.

~HERO~

Weston is exhausted and I'm sure she's sad and hurt. She doesn't think Tindra can find any comfort in her anymore and I know that she's frustrated for other reasons. We haven't had any sex since the day Tindra was born and I know Weston, if she has an itch you better scratch it for her before she explodes. So I have made a little plan. Seth and Dani are going to take Tindra for the night. So I'm gonna give my wife some special attention later today. She's gonna get all she wants.

"What's the fuzz about, Angel?"

When she looks at me she smiles and my heart melts. Weston storms out of the cabin, I know she can't control herself right now. I don't blame her. She takes Tindra every night so I can sleep. I told her she doesn't have to do that but I think she wants to prove that she can take care of her.

I take Tindra in my arms and look through the window. Weston kicks the football to the dogs. They're happy as hell that someone wants to play with them. It's been a bust three months. For everyone. We had to admit Vince into a psych ward. We really tried to help him the best we could but it didn't work. Finally, he agrees to go there. He's been doing better ever since Kip and Pollux tracked down his daughter. We found her and got a DNA test and she is Vince's. So she's been staying with us.

Blake and Emma really play well with each other. That's good. Pollux and Blair are expecting a little one. When they told us they both teared up and I think we all did. Pollux asked her to marry him. She said yes and she adopted Blake.

Our lives are pretty different from that day Weston walked into the clubhouse and shook my world around. She was a hurricane and a force of nature and I couldn't help but fall in love with her. I love her so goddamn much. Even when she's bitching

When Weston got her shit together, she walked into the house and found me still on the couch with Tindra in my arms. "Hey, baby girl. Mama's sorry for being such a bitch. I love you." And Tindra gives Weston a big smile. Weston's eyes fill with tears as she takes a seat next to me. She kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry. I love you." She says. "I love you too."

Seth and Dani step inside. "Where's my favorite niece?" Seth comes straight to me and snatches Tindra from me. We chuckle. Seth is the best and Tindra adores him. "So we're taking her with us for the night. Have fun kids." Dani says. I hand them a bag and they walk out with Tindra. Weston looks at me, confused.

~WESTON~

"So they promised me to have her for the night so you and I could have some alone time. I've been missing you." He says. I smirk and straddle him. "Fuck me! Now!" He stands up with me wrapped around his waist. He walks us upstairs and lay on top of me on the bed. There's no time for foreplay, I just need him inside me now!
