Alex's Pov...

You know, I thought going from zero kids to four would be difficult, but it's been ridiculously easy. I was warned that teenagers are hard, cause they wouldn't listen and would be disrespectful and stuff like that. And a Toddler will be tiring, because they always get into everything and never stop moving.

Yeah we haven't experienced any of that. We don't even really need to ask them to do anything, they just do it. Like cleaning up after themselves. The only messes are ones that Jo and I make, so the house is pretty clean compared to other houses that have children in them. Like my best friend Meredith's house. There's always a baby sock or toy on the floor.

Only problem we've experienced is them having nightmares. Especially Jensen and Owen. At least it doesn't happen every night and it's just one of them having a nightmare.

It's currently 3 am and I'm sitting in the living room rocking in the recliner while Owen is slowly falling back asleep from a nightmare. He has one hand gripping onto my shirt and the other softly playing with his hair.

A little while after he had fully fallen back asleep, I carefully got up trying not to wake him, then took him back to his room. I laid him back down in his crib and covered him with his blanket, then watched him sleep for a couple minutes before quietly leaving.

By the time I finally got back into bed, Jo's alarm went off. She turned it off as fast as she could, rolled over and gave me a kiss. "I'll see you at lunch to sign them up for school?" She whispered as she got up to start getting ready for work.

"If I can wake up by then." She let out a quiet laugh, then went into the bathroom to take a shower. I was already asleep by the time she was done.

Landon's Pov...

"You guys like them right?" I asked Jensen and Sloan while we sat on the couch watching Sharkboy and Lavagirl. "Honestly they make me feel safe and loved, just like how mom and dad made us feel. I wouldn't mind if they actually became our new parents..." Sloan said and Jensen nodded. "Yeah me too." I said adjusting my position on the couch.

They're good people. It's kind of been nice not being woken up by someone else telling me to go calm one of my brothers down after they had a nightmare. Alex and Jo just do it, like parents do. They're pretty great parents for people who didn't have time to prepare.

It's currently 8:30 in the morning and I haven't seen either Alex or Jo. Their door was shut so I'm assuming at least one of them is still home and sleeping. They only shut it while they're sleeping, I think they only do it in case there's a fire. I guess it helps protect you a little bit or at least gives you more time to get out safely.

We finished the movie, then decided to make ourselves breakfast. "Good Morning." Alex said walking into the kitchen a few minutes later with Owen in his arms.

"Morning D...Alex." I corrected myself. He gave me a little smile and a nod, then grabbed a box of cereal and started eating out of it. That's interesting.

"Jo and I are signing you guys up for the high school that's closer to here this afternoon, just letting you know if you guys want to go with." "Aighty whities." Jensen said, making us all look over at him in disgust. "Dude, never say that again." Alex said as he put the box of cereal away.

"So are any of you coming with?" "I'll go." Sloan answered as she washed her dishes and placed them into the dishwasher. "Okay, do you mind coming to the hospital afterwards until Jo gets off?" "No that's fine."

"Okay, then you two will babysit Owen. Oh! And tonight we're having a dinner party with some of my friends from work and their kids, you don't have to join if you're not comfortable." "Do any of them have kids our ages?" I asked.
