Chapter 3

Jensen's Pov...

Today is our first day of school for like hundredth time. Alex and Jo are already at the hospital and took Owen with them to the Hospital's daycare, so it's up to the three of us to get on the bus or walk to school.

So we woke up as early as we possibly could, got ready for school while watching out for other people to arrive at the bus stop. We were out the door by 7:10 and there were already a handful of people standing around waiting. They looked to be in our age range so we have hope this is the right group of kids.

We stayed a little bit away from the others and waited for the bus to arrive. "Hey are you guys new? I haven't seen you before." A guy with brown hair and brown eyes asked as he walked over to us.

"Uh yeah, we just moved here, I'm Landon, this is my brother and sister Jensen and Sloan." Landon Introduced us. "I'm Sawyer. You staying with the Karev's?"

"Yeah, they're fostering us." I answered. "Cool, where do they work? My dad said he sees them leave at odd hours for work sometimes." "They're surgeons at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital." "Ah, that makes sense."

We continued to make small talk until the school bus showed up. Landon and Sloan sat together and I sat with Sawyer so we could continue our conversation."

When we arrived at the school, Landon went his own way and Sloan stayed with Sawyer and I. "So are you two twins?" Sawyer asked while we walked over to a mostly empty table.

"Yup." "Cool, I've never actually met a set twins in real life before." He said as we sat down at the table and another guy joined us. "Hey Lucky, these are my new friends Jensen and Sloan, they live with the Karev's."

"It's actually Lukas, but my friends call me Lucky, nice to meet you guys." He waved with a little smile. "You too. So what's up with the Karev's?" I asked curious as to why it's so interesting that we live with them.

"Nothing really, the wife is just really hot, plus they have tons of hot friends that come over a lot. Especially this one woman. It's kind of suspicious how often she shows up to their house in the middle of the night."

"Meredith." Sloan and I said at the same exact time while looking at each other and laughing. "Meredith is Alex's best friend. They just have a very close friendship that it looks weird to others. He's her person now that her other friend moved to Switzerland." Sloan informed them.

"Her person? What does that mean?" Sawyer asked. "You know, the person you go to with all of your problems. Like your other half or platonic soulmate." I answered.

Eventually the conversation shifted to students to avoid and what teachers suck and which teachers are the best. Luckily for Sloan and I, we were put into all of the classes with the good teachers.

"Class these are our new students, Sloan and Jensen Grier. Be nice please." The teacher introduced us, then pointed at a couple of desks for us to sit at. Sadly they were across the room from one another.

At least she's surrounded by girls that look nice. One has already started talking to her. She has curled light blonde hair. They're both smiling so, I stopped watching and started to pay attention to the teacher.

I checked on Sloan every now and then, but that's just because I'm protective of her and don't want anyone to hurt her. The class seemed to go by fast, but that's probably because I zoned out a lot.

"So did you make a friend?" I nudged Sloan as we walked to our next class. "Yeah, she was nice. I'm going to ask mom and dad if she can come over after school." "Mom and dad?" "Sorry, I meant Jo and Alex..."
