finally an update wow go me

..

[scarlett]

I lift my eyes up from my book that I'm reading and look at the boy at the door. He doesn't look any different from the previous time that I saw him. I can already see from here that he looks like he hasn't slept in days, because the bags under his eyes are so dark.

He apologizes for being tardy and shuffles his way to his seat beside me. I catch his eyes as he sits down. He gives me a smile, but I don't return it. I don't even bother to see his reaction before turning back to my book.

Throughout the dreadful class period, I continuously feel taps on my shoulder that I don't answer. If he wants to talk to me he can do it when we're not in the middle class, and not being irritating by tapping me.

Finally, the bell rings. I grab my bags as fast as I can and hurry to my next class, to avoid confrontation.

My next class is Math. I groan in agony, even though I'm not bad in that class, it doesn't make me hate it any less.

At the end of the day I am exhausted from almost falling asleep in almost every class except band, and you kinda can't fall asleep in that class, sadly.

I walk outside pushing past tons of other teenagers to get to my car. I finally reach it, throw my bags into the backseat and try to start it. I turn the key, but nothing happens. I try again, and still nothing happens.

"Okay seriously? I just got this fucking car and it's already broke down? Great. Just great." I say resting my head on the steering wheel.

I grab my phone out of my pocket and try to call my mom. With my luck, she doesn't answer.

I swear, as I scan the parking lot looking for Luke. He must have already left.

I guess my only option is to walk home. I sigh as I grab my bags and lock the car. My house isn't that far from here so I guess I can make it.

I begin the dreadful walk down the deserted street. I stop and pull my headphones to listen to music. If I'm going to walk home, I might as well make it as enjoyable as I can.

Before I start walking, I make sure to grab my glasses out of my bag. I absolutely hate wearing them, and even when I run out of contacts I still don't wear them. Which is probably pretty stupid, but what am I to know.

About half an hour into my walk it starts to drizzle. It isn't coming down that hard, so I can make it home okay.

The closer I get to home, the harder it starts to rain. I put my phone in my pocket, and take off my jacket to cover my head.

As I continue walking down the wet street, I hear a car pull up beside me. I turn to see a small car, that I don't recognize. I can't see who is in driving because of the mist of the rain, and the fogging of my glasses.

The door of the car opens up, and out comes the one person I really don't want to see right now. Michael.

"What are you doing?" He asks, squinting through the rain.

"Oh you know, just my daily walk through the rain." I say as I continue walking. He stops his car and starts to follow me.

"No seriously, why are you out here?"

"My fucking car broke down okay. I called my mom, and looked for Luke and this was my only choice," I reply.

"I can give you a ride," he suggests.
