...

The next week goes by with Michael either ignoring me, or bitching at me. Ive noticed in this time, that he changes moods extremely fast. I wish Luke would tell me what his problem is, so I can try and help him with it. I don't like seeing people that deserve to be happy, not be happy.

Obviously, I know that he can be a huge jerk sometimes, but there has to be a reason behind that, Doesn't there? People just don't act that way for no reason.

There's always that person that is in your life, and they don't think that much of you, but you think a lot of them. Not that I like michael or anything, but he seems like the type of person whos been through a lot, and doesn't have many people there for him.

Maybe if I just give him a chance, we can be friends. And vice-versa

By the weekend, I've planned for Luke to come over, and us just hang out for the night. My mom won't be home, and I have to babysit my brother. He usually doesn't bother me when I have friends over, most of the time because he's afraid of them, (and me). And if he does bother me, he'll be sure not to do it again.

I wake up around 2, and I get dressed quickly, and go downstairs. It's lightly snowing outside, when I look out the window.

Im so happy that the weather is finally changing. It's the first week if November, and IM already loving it.

I grab my keys, and head out to my car, to go get all the junk food that were going to eat tonight.

I arrive at the small store, and fill the shopping basket with all the necessary supplies for the evening, which include, chips, gummy bears, sodas, popcorn, and more.

When I go up to the check out line, I don't even pay attention to the check out person is. I throw all of the stuff I bought onto the counter, and look at the price on the screen.

"30.55," says a familiar voice. I look up to see michael, of all people standing there.

I try not to laugh as I look him up and down, and see his uniform, which includes an apron. He must have dyed his hair again yesterday because now its red. Read actually suits him really well, the last color he had was really weird and I'm not even sure what to categorize it as.

I never knew he worked here. He just do it for side money. I don't know why he never told me he worked here. Well actually I do, he never talks to me and when he does its either a really stupid comment or something rude.

I pull out my wallet and pay the red haired boy, and hand him the money. He gives me back my change, and he gave me an extra dollar, but judging by the smirk on his face, he did it on purpose.

I grab the bags and am almost out the door, when I hear running foot steps behind me. Its Michael, and he almost runs me over.

"Wait wait wait," he pants. Im sure as hell he never runs so this is quite the workout for him.

"Yes?" I ask staring down at the bent over boy who is still panting. I roll my eyes at how over-dramatic He's being.

After about a minute when he still hasn't answered me, I head to the door, which gets me a,

"Hey!" from Michael.

"Well you were taking too long. I have places to be ya know." I tell him.

He blushes, and I smile because he's actually really adorable, when he's not ya know, being an asshole.

"Okay well," he starts. I can tell by his body language that whatever he wants to tell me has really been bothering him. He's swaying back and forward, and he's looking at the ground.
