Tanya Degurechaff was surprised, the battalion along with these new nurses was going better than expected. It was even better because these nurses knew how to fight and were as effective as her own soldiers. Although their weapons looked archaic, they were as strong as the ones the artillery used. And then there was their boss: Cara Uriel. Her efficiency could only be compared to Visha's, capable of following orders quickly and maintain her team in a perfect state. Tanya had to admit she admired her work, much more due to her being younger than the blonde by a year.
She could see Cara running towards her, her short wavy black hair half up tied to the side. Her dark eyes gleaming with excitement, with her black Victorian dress and white apron fluttering along with her rushing feet. Tanya recalled the first time she saw those nurse-maid outfits, the blonde believed them to be inconvenient, even hazardous, now she knew they weren't for them.
"I brought this for you Major Degurechaff!" said Cara with a wide smile and handing her a thermos. "It's coffee. I'm not really sure which one you would like, so I made a plain black one."
Tanya opened the forest green thermos and checked the contents. Black coffee, no sweeteners, no cream, or anything else others who were not her adjutant added to her drink.
"Thanks, Captain Uriel," said Tanya with a firm nod.
"It's nothing!" said the raven-haired girl staring into the horizon. "The soldiers look relaxed" now her smile wasn't so happy, it seemed tense, angry. "A little too much"
When Tanya focused on where the captain was looking she understood. Some soldiers were being a little too aggressive with their advances towards the nurses. Hadn't they ever seen a woman dressed in a black Victorian outfit with an apron? Those dresses were barely covering their ankles!
"I guess it is time for us to begin," said Tanya, Cara nodded. Another surprise awaited when she saw the younger floating at the same height and speed as herself without equipment. Yet, as usual, the blonde managed to hide her emotions.
"May I do the honors?" Tanya nodded, in a way, wishing to see what this child was capable of. Cara lifted her hand, a magic circle appearing in front of her, and as fast as it had been there, it vanished. The blonde was tempted to ask about it when suddenly there was a small explosion in the middle of the ground where the soldiers stood. This ally was dangerous, she needed to be careful.
"That was your wake-up call! No need to thank me maggots!" said Tanya with her typical sadistic smile.
The ones from Nazarick stood firm in their places, straight like the soldiers were supposed to be but weren't. Though Tanya noticed their hostile stares filled with hate, Tanya wondered if they were racist. Suddenly, their gaze changed, probably Cara had done something. She also saw her brunette adjutant digging a hole, when one of the nurses noticed she quickly helped the busty girl finish. It was big enough for her to fit in. Tanya was a bit confused as to why only Viktoriya got inside but decided not to question it.
"A little birdie told us that the artilleries in this area had some empty shells they needed to get rid of! I figured I would give them a chance to have some fun while getting some target practice in!" She laughed and gazed at her poor students. She looked at Cara, noticing she finish translating to...Japanese sign language? No, that couldn't be possible. It wasn't the time or place to analyze this.
"Don't worry, they don't have any spare ammo, so this exercise will be a fairly quick one! They'll run dry in exactly 36 hours! You just have to survive till then. Let's see how good you are at defensive training!" Tanya shot at the sky and thus begun the attack.
