Tanya had started getting wet dreams, she blamed being X for it. He loved tormenting the blonde after all. It got so bad that it was hard for Tanya to look at her female soldiers and nurses. Mainly Viktoriya, who was taller and more voluptuous than her. That wasn't the only thing bothering Tanya, when she went to the doctor back at headquarters to ask why she hadn't gotten taller, well, her answer was a medical kit for a period she didn't have. Being X should be having a field day right now! He was playing with the blonde's hormones and that wasn't funny!

Tanya felt Cara was her salvation when her adjutant wasn't available. To begin with, her coffee was good, she always had chocolates of different types with her, and warmth spells, not to mention, both had to be observing the army's development. The blonde admitted this much: the nurses were as efficient in combat as they were with medicine. When the avalanche had come during practice they managed to revive and save almost everyone. Except for Grantz, Tanya interfered with that one for being disrespectful. What did she do? She kicked him so hard he threw up the snow inside him. Tanya also saw that those from Nazarick were only faking their tolerance, they considered them as low as insects. There was no sympathy, only numbers. But, at least, they saw the soldiers as useful, Tanya could thank Cara for that. They obeyed the raven-haired girl as if she were some kind of deity, though, Cara never seemed to call herself one.

With her face on the desk, Tanya found herself thinking and debating alone what to do with herself.

"I should go and get my head checked..."

"Major Degurechaff, a communication from strategic HQ" Tanya got up immediately looking back at her adjutant. Viktoriya seemed extremely nervous, this was a bad sign for Tanya.

"Understood..." Tanya checked the paper handed to her irritably. "They want an immediate answer?"

"Yes ma'am, there is a messenger waiting outside"

Tanya sighed and did as told, leaving her office and heading towards where she needed to be.

There, sitting in front of her, there was a black-haired man with a long strand of hair that set aside his face. Tanya wondered why someone would even CONSIDER such an ugly hairstyle, but this was another world, she couldn't say much about style, much less because as a soldier, she never had much time for those frivolous things. He had a gentle, cool-headed looking face and wore bottom rimmed eyeglasses, his cold eyes almost piercing through her young skin.

"I am lieutenant coronel Rerugen from strategic HQ," he said seriously. "Congratulations on your promotion, major"

"Thank you lieutenant colonel." she stayed firm and serious, not intimidated by this man that reminded her of herself in her other life. "Of course I recognize your name. I am not sure we've met. It was my understanding that you were out inspecting various battlefronts"

"Yes, I was" he answered. "But I have been back for a few days"

"If I may ask, our orders are to head north as soon as possible?"

"We have been informed about the creation of the 203rd aerial mage battalion which you are in charge of"

"We are in training. I would like to request for six months more to complete it"

"The inspector said you are in conditions to depart immediately" What inspector? Why wasn't she briefed? Did those from Nazarick know? "You have been given the best equipment there is"

"I gave the necessary ones to balance their combat force. The development engineer Schugel owed me a favor, he also checked the weapons developed by our allies. Their efficiency and strength have been already confirmed" Informed Tanya as she sipped her cup. The blonde needed to relax.
