Allura's pov

Bwoop! Bwoop! Bwoop!

It was almost midnight when the castle's emergency alarms blasted to life with flashing red lights and a piercing sharp sound penetrated my ears."no!" I say bolting upright,"Keith!Keith wake up!"the young man laying next spring awake and full alert.

Soon enough...

We quickly dress in paladin armour and race to control...arriving fifteen ticks a head of the others.

"Coran...what is going on?"I ask feeling a tight knot deep down in my gut."princess?Keith?"coran says sounding startled,"guys what's up ?!"Lance shouted before going instantly going wide eyed with his mouth gaping open like a confused whizlocke the middle of a massive tornado storm-I for one do not blame him.

"No!" I whisper feeling a tight pain in my gut as I look out at the hundreds of thousands Galra warships."paladins to your lions!"Shiro says with a strong sense of urgency in his voice and the paladins all instantly rushed to their lions(I noticed keith snuck a glance back at me)

I give a faint smile of weak confidence as I took my usual place at the castle interface...a holo-screen layout quickly appeared in front of me."coran ,enhance power to shield and ready castle defenses!"I ordered keeping my mind focused on the immediate threat.

The lions swiftly destroy a good portion of the galra fleet...Star cruisers,dread noughts and destroyer class warbirds exploding by the tick-a fact that gives me a small sense of comfort.

"princess-"coran began to say but I quickly cut him off,"I know coran!" I said seeing that the galra have called for reinforcements.

"Uhh guys...there's suddenly a lot more galra than before!!"Hunk says blandly stating the obvious... and for a moment it feels like the whole universe around me vanishes as I quickly withdrew deep into the labyrinth of my mind.

There had be at least twice as many galra ships...the paladins might be  able to hold them off...but if they tried defeat the fleet-"princess!"I heard Shiro voice shout over the castle's communication system."yes Shiro?"
The paladins quickly formed voltron and began to battle the galra ships.

Shiro sounded distressed... and from what I saw... I could not blame him."...Shiro can you and the others keep the galra busy for at least two quadicks?" I say  quickly calculating  the hyper portal's coordinations my mind distressed and unfocused as randomly punch in coordinates.

"Paladins.... we are ready for hyper jump!"I say preparing to retreat into hyper jump-voltron break off back into the individual lions.

"P-Princess... there's something wrong with the castle warp engines!?"coran says with his face pale as a ghost and his plain purple eyes wide with a mix of fear and startled shock."coran what-"
"Princess!"I heard a small and child like voice say-I turned to see the space mice sitting on my right shoulder."oh it's you little friends!" I say with a very wry smile."princess...what is going on?"cheezy.

I do not answer ...nor do I even have the time to as something instantly goes wrong with the jump portal."Uhh Allura Zzk Zzk "I briefly heard Lance's voice through the castle communication system before it eventually went to garbled static ."Lance?Lance your breaking up-"
Quiznack! I curse losing the lions signal...I try to establish contact with...anyone really-Shiro ,pidge,hunk Lance...Keith-I close my eyes and try my best not to cry .

"Easy there little lady!"coran says oddly ...his voice strange and sounding strangely younger;I opened my eyes...and my mouth instantly hanged open in a confused 'o' shape as I now see that coran has been de-aged by at least two decades."coran you...you've de-aged!"

The castle of lions repeatedly goes through the time anomaly three more times...each time growing younger and younger (first turning into his teens,than his mid childhood and toddler years),only stopping when he reaches his infancy...all the while we tried to escape the time loop.

I hold coran close to my right breast,"shh" I whispered gently rocking him." I am so sorry coran!" I Whimper feeling tears begin to slide down my face.

I pressed the infant closer my breast...my eyes flooding with tears

I try one final time to escape the loop

I take a deep breath and close my eyes once again ,the castle goes through the loop one final time... I shyly opened one eye.

"Coran!...your back to normal!"coran just sucked his thumb,"Allura?coran?"my heart  excitedly skipped a beat as I heard Keith's voice."keith!...are any of the others with you?"I asked excitedly

"No!"Keith says sadly,"...but Allura...Shiro's injured pretty bad!"

I let out a faint sigh of relief to at least know that Keith and Shiro were safe(if at least a little worse for wear),well have to find the others soon enough.
