Sidenote:

This chapter takes place sometime before the first season finale of legendary defenders...so shiro is still the black lion pilot/paladin 😉👍

Keith's pov

I wondered aimlessly around the lush open field the calm alien world coran and the others had picked a nice and quiet planet for the wedding due to the planet's similarity to Altea,Allura had wanted me to feel as comfortable as possible...so she picked a part of the planet that was just like the open fields and light woods I spent my early childhood with my dad.

I quickly sniffed the clear-fresh air with the smell of still dewy grass,I take the majestic scenery and hearing the soothing tweets of what I could only to be birds made it seem so peaceful.

I closed my eyes and for just a brief moment I forget everything...the war with the galra...just...everything...that is until I hear the call of an all too familiar sounding voice."Uhh Keith-"I turned with a faint smile to see shiro and Lance standing there right behind me,"...don't tell me that you were thinking about bailing out on your own wedding?"he joked lightheartedly

I couldn't help but laugh dryly in reply," not a chance!" I loved Allura...with all my heart and I know she must feel the same way in some form or fashion...otherwise why would a girl like her be interested in marriage a guy like me?

Meanwhile...

Back at the castle of lions (Allura's bedroom)

Allura's Pov

I looked myself over in the mirror almost disbelieving as she the beautiful all white dress I was wearing(my body was slightly bigger than the dress with my chest shoulder blades exposed with slight v shaped line along the shoulders and trailing towards my breasts)

"Uhh pidge are you sure this dress isn't too small is it?"I asked seeing the smaller woman roll her light brown eyes skeptically."the dress is fine Allura !"she said giving a small smile,"...are you sure you aren't just getting cold feet right now ?"she asked in a more kinder tone,"I don't see what my dress not fitting has to do with my feet becoming cold?"I say with a puzzled  expression.

Pidge took a seat in a nearby chair  and gave a small smile reassuringly."It's an earth expression Allura...I suggest you get use to it!"she laughed dryly with a clear sense of sarcasm in her voice as she gave a sly grin."yes well... I suppose that is part of his charm!"I giggled briefly before carefully placing a hand over belly quickly turning to Keith and the night.

Soon enough...

Keith, Lance and shiro(who was Keith's best man) waited at the make shift wedding alter that the guys had set up just too make the wedding feel more 'official'...though she to wearing the Allura was against wearing the veil...as she put it.'I don't want to hide anything from the man I am about to marry!'

Keith watches happily as Allura slowly walked down the ail with a large bouquet of purple rose like flowers(only the petals were a little more open with a small puff in the center )

"...Yah know Allura there is still time to back out if You want?"Keith said lovingly placing a hand onto the young woman's cheek,"oh don't be silly Keith... I am ready to spend rest of my life with you...as a family!"Keith smiled warmly at the princess's answer feeling an oddly strong bond with this alien girl,he half thought he was crazy for falling in love with Allura...especially since he's known her the least out of all(excluding coran of course)

Allura gave her soon to be husband a warm and loving smile,"you know what's funny Allura?"The young man laughed softly with goofy expression on his face."no darling what?"the princess said wispily with her once faded smile now wide revealing the woman's more than pearly white teeth.

Allura and Keith lovingly with all their friends (shiro,Lance,pidge and hunk),watching on as the two youths were preparing to be United in matrimony in accordance with altean tradition with coran himself officiating the ceremony-the older altean male pronouncing the two as man and wife."...you may kiss the bride!"coran said with a faint smile.

Keith leaned in close and kissed his new wife sealing their union in the eyes of all their friends.
